have tried bitshares.org and openledger, both seem to lag alot.
Any suggestions please?

Mine doesn't lag for some reason. Maybe I'm on faster node.

You can switch node to a faster one. If you get a window saying retry, you can switch nodes there when one fails to connect, or switch inside to faster one https://steemit.com/bitshares/@ash/how-to-fix-transactions-trades-user-names-not-working-in-bitshares

Check that you're logging in with right mode, there should be a button to switch between wallet and account mode on login window

can also download the client or try the other interfaces i mentioned

Thankyou, was on a sloooow node, now it flys!

Some people suggest disabling built in chat to improve performance of the dex UI until it's improved

here are instructions how to do it

1 billion market cap!!!

The current market cap bitshares are fantastic, if it can survive maybe the market caps bitshares can surpass the other altcoin.
The price increase yesterday could make bitshares to be in the top 4 positions, we just have to wait until all this comes true.

Seems like there are too many people willing take quick small profits right now and not enough whales. We need more people with the balls to buy and hold for more than 24 hours geez! Wait a freaking week at least! A $1 Bitshare is coming sooner or later but its gonna be later if people keep selling off just cuz it went up 5 or 10 cents.

It takes time. Crypto people get overexcited and then panic, but average longer term trends tend to hold. We been rising steadily for a solid month now. Difficult to worry when tech and fundamentals back up evaluation, but could go either way.

Nice pump today, almost doubled the price and still almost 40% rise.

Hope this is sustainable.

What the fuck, I cant login with my username and pass,I can swear that I havent changed my password on openledger but now after some time I just cant log in. Anyone can help?Huh

If you have it written down right, go to original post and try several of the interfaces. There's bitshares.org, openledger, bitshares.eu, freedomledger, android wallet, and so on.

Also make sure you're using the right mode:

the old mode was the wallet where you need that backup file + password + name,

or new account model that's just name + strong password

There were some tutorials for old wallet model : http://favs.pw/bitshares-how-to-import-your-wallet-backup/

Can also join the telegram chat
have tried bitshares.org and openledger, both seem to lag alot.
Any suggestions please?

disable the chat if it's lagging.

Just as I suspected a temporary pump. With no further development . I was constantly warning about this but I guess people from China really have deep pockets . Now they can afford to lose once this pump is over.

I just measured how long the "temporary pump" so far went, it has been 91 days for 17400% (174x) increase. this pullback so far is 32%. Can you go away with your speculation based on zero facts, zero sources, zero evidence, zero deduction?

Grin When I saw something like your say about the Waves, I sold all my coin (10.000) for just 1.8 btc. So got a lesson! ) Never hear some experts on a bitcointalk. Listen intuition! BTS is HUGE and it will cost around $5 in 6-12 month.

It's not as simple as you try to put it. Somebody powered a ton of BTC in this and I highly doubt they are done. This is not your usual pump and dump.

The good news is that BTS is rising as we hoped for. The even better news is that the technicals are indicating the current rise is not being powered by an emotional public, but by professionals. The current uptrend beginning this last Thursday as seen on the hourly chart is still intact. We are inside a series of extensions all using the same anchor that is targeting ~.00026000. While clearly working off excesses and correcting down to the 50% retrace of the extension and the rising 50sma that also meets with good horizontal price and Bollinger support, the volumetric studies suggest continued strong demand in what looks like accumulation. All this suggests that this is not exactly the best place to be taking profits. Let your profits run, and wait for a breakdown in the trend before selling. Smiley
