No one knows. They do not disclose it. It's not issue with network nor SEC nor volume which are confirmed.

I don't want to guess, but I think probably lazy developers who don't want to support too many different coins. Wouldn't be surprised if they had a short before announcement.

So bitshares is a scam?

Bittrex is a minor exchange, and only one doing this out of many.

All the projects on BTS you can see on front page still continuing including Bitspark/UN usecase.

If anything is a scam, it's Bittrex.

Huh? Bittrex is not a minor exchange. Today's volume places it behind only Finex and Bithumb: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Of course volume for BTS is going to be lower because they're delisting the coin in 48 hours.

Anyone have any idea why bitshares is going to be delisted on bittrex?

It's all very speculative why Bittrex is delisting Bitshares, and official response from Bittrex is that it takes 64GB of RAM to run a Bitshares node, and others say it's because Bittrex sees Bitshares as competition and wants rid of it.

The official response from trex was "we do not comment our delistings". No more no less. That RAM issue is just an early rumour from noname's twitter account then reposted on slack by someone. As well as another rumour about SEC from noname source called stockemperor ranked almost 2mm on Alexa. Clickbait article.

Where is it better to transfer the BTS: to the Polonix exchange or to the wallet? If on a wallet, which one?

on BitShares exchange

That is an exchange but also a wallet, because when you create an account, you hold your private keys, so is like having a personal wallet.

2017-10-12 Bitshares - State of the Network - 10th October 2017
https://steemit.com/bitshares/@steempower/bitshares-state-of-the-network-10th-october-2017

Quote
Bitshares will no longer be trading on Bittrex after the 13th of October! If you still have a balance on the exchange you should transfer them out immediately. Need an account? Use the official cloud wallet HERE (Username and Password to sign up - it's that simple)

@billbutler has announced a new release of the Bitshares reference wallet (v2.0.171009), announcement can be found HERE. This release focuses on the commonly known 'account model'; presenting it as a cloud wallet, This cloud wallet will allow users to signup/signin to Bitshares with a familiar username and password method. This will take a lot of complexity out of creating an account and is a great move forward. You can view the new Bitshares cloud wallet HERE.

40 Million BTS has moved from top 100 (mainly from Exchanges) to accounts outside the top 100. This is good news in terms of having a wider distribution!, top 100 personal holders (not exchanges) have also increased by 6.4 Million and Balances held on exchanges are down ~47 Million BTS.

@stan has been busy with a number of interviews this week; you can use the following links to view the interviews Stan Larimer and Teresa Kuhn from the Living Wealthy radio show and Stan Larimer with Connie Willis from Blue Rock Talk

@richcg has released the final update for the new Bitshares website. You can see his progress HERE or view the preview of the website HERE

@kimchi-king has done an amazing post on his discovery of Bitshares and the power of the platform. @kimchi-king touches on some background and then digs into how you can make use of the DEX, key features of Bitshares, comparison against other leading projects, price analysis and heap more. This is an incredible effort and he has obviously put a lot of effort into sharing his views. Recommended reading for all, you can find the post HERE

This week has seen @xeroc move to the #1 vote proxy with @bitcrab in second place. Vote proxies are respected members of the community that other shareholders can delegate their voting power too, this allows the proxy to vote on behalf of those shareholders. Congratulations to @xeroc

@blockchained team is reporting, that now that their gateway Rudex was accepted upstream they've had time to add dark theme to their interface; add language detection, so when you first come to their site it shows you interface in your language; and also their trollbox now has Russian, English and Chinese telegram channels.

Bitspark is currently conducting their Token sale for the ‘ZEPH’ tokens representing ‘Project Zephyr’; Current tier is at the cheapest rate / highest discounted amount. Project Zephyr will enable MTOs and remittance customers to have access to 180+ fiat pegged cryptocurrencies through Bitspark’s existing mobile app Sendy (2017) and web platform (2014) which is switching to Bitshares. Find out more HERE

CryptoCompare has released an extensive guide titled ‘How to use the Bitshares Decentralized Exchange’, the guide starts out by downloading the wallet and creating an account but also walks through trading on the DEX, sending assets and withdrawing funds. You can views the guide HERE
