Anyone have any idea why bitshares is going to be delisted on bittrex?

No one knows. They do not disclose it. It's not issue with network nor SEC nor volume which are confirmed. I don't want to guess, but I think probably lazy developers who don't want to support too many different coins. Wouldn't be surprised if they had a short before announcement. So bitshares is a scam?
Bittrex is a minor exchange, and only one doing this out of many. All the projects on BTS you can see on front page still continuing including Bitspark/UN usecase. If anything is a scam, it's Bittrex. |

Huh? Bittrex is not a minor exchange. Today's volume places it behind only Finex and Bithumb: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/Of course volume for BTS is going to be lower because they're delisting the coin in 48 hours. |

The official response from trex was "we do not comment our delistings". No more no less. That RAM issue is just an early rumour from noname's twitter account then reposted on slack by someone. As well as another rumour about SEC from noname source called stockemperor ranked almost 2mm on Alexa. Clickbait article. |

@billbutler has announced a new release of the Bitshares reference wallet (v2.0.171009), announcement can be found HERE. This release focuses on the commonly known 'account model'; presenting it as a cloud wallet, This cloud wallet will allow users to signup/signin to Bitshares with a familiar username and password method. 40 Million BTS has moved from top 100 (mainly from Exchanges) to accounts outside the top 100. This is good news in terms of having a wider distribution!, top 100 personal holders (not exchanges) have also increased by 6.4 Million and Balances held on exchanges are down ~47 Million BTS.
