The coins can be mined after the mainnet is live or after a specific block number?
As soon as the Mainnet is live you will be able to mine the real NIM. No pre mining. When do you expect to activate mainnet? In December, you can check our roadmap in our WebpageIn December. I will make a note of that. When you said its so easy, your mom could mine (according to the front page), that would mean you could mine CPU only??? I couldn't imagine my mom mining with a full rig (multiple GPUs) hooked up to her computer. #Tapcoin

Interesting project, but the 400% inflation in the first year is really bad for ICO investors.
Thanks for the interest. 100% of the supply for the first year come from the Token Sale, after the Mainnet is launched new NIM will be rewarded to miners similar to Bitcoin. Check our Supply & Pricing of Nimiq blog post. Thank you for the clarification rngkll. NIM browser mining for me it looks very attractive, and i will wait for mainnet start to mine Nimiq.

Will there be pools or just solo mining? Sound kind of hard to gather enough hash with a single browser running... please clarify

5% of total supply token will be distributed for contributors, but another 7% will be issued at the launch (for the team, partners...) Contributors get less than 40% at the launch, for 60 000 ETH (without counting 88% for the miners)

Yes, the answer is in our FAQ Blog PostBut we are working in an import/export tool. Currently you can access it by opening your Javascript console (F12) and entering: Nimiq.get().wallet.keyPair.toBase64();

Currently you can access it by opening your Javascript console (F12) and entering: Nimiq.get().wallet.keyPair.toBase64(); If you use the same browser, the same wallet will be used. There are third party sites that provide you the ability to load wallets using the private key.
