What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

loosing your 12 word phrase (seed) are cause in loosing your account, so keep it on your mind or keep it in the very safest place of your house, then letting someone/somebody for knowing your seed and private key are cause of hacken, so dont trust anybody with those secrete phrase and private key to avoid from getting hacked.

The safest way to keep your bitcoins... well i think that would be store it on some hard drive and unplug it and leave it offline. Offline keeping of bitcoins is best option for safe keeping bitcoins. No one can connect to it from internet, so you do not have to worry about hackers. Just remember where you have putted it, and do not let anyone trow it away like junk. Cheesy Tongue

You use a coinbase or blockchain wallet
and use second level security
Do not download malicious software because there may be viruses
That way you can resist the hacker

any bitcoin wallet. then save wallet dat file by rar with password Cheesy  and save to gmail. enable 2FA verify
In my suggestion the best way to ensure that your bitcoin are safe is to put password with Alphanumeric + special characters in the wallet or if your wallet is an application for android phone. Make sure that your digital password is not connected on your preference.

just need to be careful if we are too scared and use all security it will not guarantee if we use internet with no smart ,
too much crime over the internet now and our security is our own for this point.

Why you don't try a multiple wallet to lessen the risk of scamming? because there's a lot criminals are leave in the internet. Moreover we cannot eliminate that due to this is their environment and they are experts with that job. However I believe that our bitcoin are safe just trust to the developers of the wallet.

The most important thing is of course we have to choose a wallet address for bitcoin that we have that really have proven safe and trustworthy free from the dangers of hacking or losing account. Me personally, i keep the bitcoin i have at my most trusted wallet address in my country and has used a lot by bitcoin users, it's 'TRIV'. Be careful on choosing wallet address site to create a wallet address, choose which really used by many bitcoin users.

Probably putting it on a secured hardware wallet will be of a great help. As for me, i strive to keep it private from anyone and i am also careful on whatever transaction i am into. I do not let anything suspicious be a interference to my bitcoin world.

if you have a lots of bitcoin better to purchase trezor wallet and make it well secured its much better to have this physical one and store your money
its just like placing your money in a safe bolts as there's always a threat from hackers if we do have big holdings.

Hmmm. I think the safest way to keep your Bitcoin is using coldstorage wallet such as Trezor but its price is a little bit expensive, about 89 Euro for one piece. But if you don't want to pay too much money for it, I think you should use offline wallet and the best choice is Electrum, but you should sure that your computer is clean and try to keep your private key or Electrum seed safe. If you still feel worry I think you better exchange your Bitcoin into cash Smiley)

How safe is it to store bitcoin, and in general crypto-currencies?
Ideally, there should be a separate PC, completely disconnected from the Internet. To throw your crypto currency on a cold purse, throw it on the computer, and leave the computer in the safe.  Grin
And of course, do not forget to make a few backups on a flash drive, a disk and a sheet.

Safest way for me is to store them in a hardware wallet or a separate computer that will never be connected to the internet. The first option requires you to buy a hardware wallet like trezor or ledger, both are pretty good but the first one had security issues with the chip they are currently using. The second option is safe because your private keys will never leave the computer, all you do is sign from the offline computer and broadcast it on the online one, though this method is quite complicated.

Bitcoin in your computer is encrypted with a password and keep it in a safe offline computer. We have control over our own keys so we will have the same balance on both lines, raising our total bitcoin balance efficiency. Much better to read more here to know that the bitcoin hardware wallet is immune to any keylogger virus or any vulnerability that affects your bitcoin wallet .. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ Hardware_wallet & can use personal keys like electronics or even Bitcoin's core electronic wallet and have personal keys printed on a sheet and save another copy on a flash drive and ask them sent to two different banks.

To the safety way to keep bitcoin i think we need to convert fast the income we earn to avoid disappearance.  Then save it to the other way like banking by depositing and use for the future.

Holding private key is better. Offline wallet can be hacked and password can be stolen and therefore, do not save your password digitally. Try to write down your password or the private key into the piece of people and save it in somewhere in your house. It is better and I can guarantee that the hackers can never figure out house to access your wallet

The best thing to do is to keep the bitcoin put in the banks so that the money can not be lost because they are secure and that you will be sure to return the money back to you. And you can also keep the bitcoin in online wallets because it's more secure as long as you just do not  forget your accounts and can be at home because it's much better to get you through far away because when home is more secure here because you are near.
