I am new to the coins but with the suggestion of my friend I started to use hardware wallet. It seems like it is the most secure.

Bitcoin is a rapidly growing cryptocurrency, both in popularity and price wise.
All good and bad people are getting attracted towards this currency.
So its our responsibility to keep our money safe from hackers. Various wallets are available in the market.

Desktop Wallet- Accessed only via your private computer, with personal security keys stored just on that machine.
Wallets like Electrum, Exodus, Copay ,Bitcoin Core, Armory are some popular and reliable wallets.

Hardware Wallet - Its also called cold storage. In this wallet user`s private key is stored in a secured hardware.
Its a offline wallet so no one can hack it. Its like usb , we can carry it anywhere.
More secured than desktop wallet.
KeepKey, Ledger Nano S, and Trezor are popular hardware wallets.

Even if you can easily exchange online, the offline paper wallet is the safest thing after all Roll Eyes

I use myetherwallet(M.E.W.) for my storage of etherium coins. The only possible way for you to be revealed is when you click the wrong links or you recklessly logged in a phishing website. I read the different opinions of experienced traders here in this forum the best wallet that they recommend is M.E.W. so i prefer that you should use that.

There is a special wallet in our market, after you stored your money into that wallet, it will freeze your bitcoin forever without using internet.

Create and print paper wallets on a live ubuntu cd OFFLINE. Yes offline. Then threat it like a piggy bank. Store coins there and once you wanted to use those coins. Break the piggy bank, swipe all stored coins and never use it again.

I think MEW is not a place to save BTC,far as I know there can only save ETH and all tokens connected to ETH.About BTC's safe not ETH,dude you must read more deeply before providing the best solutions and solutions to save trusted security is offline wallet. Wink

As long as you have the private key then it's safe. DO not give that private key to anyone else.

The best choices for me are using a cold storage and two factor authentication (2FA). Storing your private keys online is never a good idea for it’s vulnerable to skilled hackers. Paper wallets are actually good but you should really keep it somewhere secured to avoid the risk of losing it.

The safest way to keep bitcoin is of course to store it in the most safest wallet you can think of. The only way to keep our bitcoins safe lies on us. If we keep it very well, and avoid giving our credentials to different sites then it will be more safer.
There are many ways to keep safe your Bitcoin and hacker can not hacking or stolen your Bitcoin. One of the best choice for many Bitcoin users is could wallet (hardware). As far as I know, Trazor and Ledger are two devices can keep your Bitcoin safest. As long as you do not give your private key to anyone, it will become a safety deposit box for you.

This depends on the amount of bitcoin we have, if we have a bitcoin in large quantity then I suggest to use the offline wallet or paper wallet. and for now I only use web wallets from Xapo and Blockchain because I'm new to bitcoin and do not have much bitcoin yet.

Cold storage! Hardware wallets mean you own it, you know where it is and you can monitor it offline or online.
