Buy a trezor dude, although the price is expensive but its worth a try. You can also import the money as the address you created at trezor can be imported by using its private key. A 100x better than blockchain.info, less hack.

Cold storage is the process of storing your Bitcoins offline. This is the safest way to store Bitcoins, especially when it comes to a large number of coins.

There are several methods of cold storage:
1- paper wallets
2- USB storage devices or other forms of standalone storage media
3- offline hardware wallets
4- Fragmented secret keys

Although cold storage is undoubtedly the safest way to store your Bitcoins offline, it all depends on the safe storage of files or private keys that, if lost, will disrupt access to your coins. In addition, using a wallet on the desktop can be quite difficult for non-professional users, so carefully follow the instructions and use more than one place to store your files

How to create a cold wallet storage you can find out by yourself. Now, there are a lot of useful step-by-step instructions that will help you.

As i know, the best way is hardware wallet.First of all, make sure that your computer is not virused, after this don't give your privete keys to anyone and enable two-factor authentication(Bitcoin private keys are secret, don't share it).olso don't keep your coins on exchange if you are going to trade in long-term,keep it in paper wallet or use hardware because of keys.,because Many exchanges have been hacked.olso u can use usb storage you can search it how to do this,i am not an expert of it.So you must be Carefully and take this choices from educated people, who has experience.

As far as I know, private key and 2FA can not use same time. You need to create your private key first. Then, find services can provide 2FA to protect your data without internet. Finally, put your private key in this folder and keep for long time until you need to use.

In my opinion the safest way is to hold your money in different cryptos and in different wallets. You will not lose all of your money if one of them crashes and it is safe!

Cold wallet is my way. It is not safe when you put Bitcoin in exchange. Hackers are more and more dangerous nowadays.

What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!
The safest way to keep your bitcoin starts with yourself. All of your accounts and wallets must only be private to you. Do not give that even to your friends or relatives unless you really trust them. Another, use a high-security wallets that may lessen the risk for your account to be hacked.

Even though there are different types of wallets to keep our bitcoins, like desktop wallet, hardware wallet, paper wallet etc;desktop wallet is easily accessible it can be hacked using malwares and is difficult to recover, then hardware wallet even it is little difficult to hack  we can recover our funds, paper wallet is difficult because they are written in a piece of paper and it will be more safe in our hands.Even though it is a decentralized digital currency the increase of the cryptocurrency value and popularity makes  hackers to hack so we have to be alert in keeping our bitcoins safe.

The most the best is you put it in the wallet that you hold the private keys. At Blockchain.info or Coinomi wallet apps, Jaxx.io Wallet apps. Or if you really want to buy Ledger, Trezzor It's a USB Type wallet and here you can put your bitcoins on it, it costs 300+ euro and you can buy it on their website

There's a lot of way you can keep your bitcoins safe. For me, you can keep your bitcoins by choosing a strong password for bitcoin wallet. By doing this, you can't put your bitcoins at risk. You can also backup your wallet so that you can protect your bitcoins to computer failures and human mistakes. It can help you to recover your wallet after your mobile or computer was stolen, if you keep it encrypted. If your bitcoin wallet stores a large amount of bitcoins, make sure you keep it in what is known as cold storage. As what i have read, cold storage means your wallet isn't present on the web or on any other computer. An example of this is would be a paper wallet or a flash drive that has your private key encrypted on it.

How safe is it to store bitcoin, and in general crypto-currencies?Preferably thee must be another Computer, completely disconnected from the web. To toss your crypto currency on a cold handbag, throw it on the computer, and leave the computer within the safe.  And of course, make sure you make a couple of backups on the memory stick, a disk and sheet. ,ra

The security of our bitcoins is mainly in our hands.  Take precautions when you are opening your bitcoin wallet into cp or computers.  Most especially if they are connected to public router.  Your account can be hacked if logging  in public wifi.  Also keep on changing your password to secure your wallet.  Simple things to keep your account safe.

only a properly created cold storage or a trusted hardware wallet.
you can search for some hardware wallets if you are not tech savvy or don't want to bother learning how tos and if you are willing to pay. things such as Trezor or Ledger nano would work.

or you can learn more about cold storage and do it yourself easily. like creating a paper wallet with tools such as https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org or make a Trezor like cold storage on your USB disk yourself

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storage
Be vigilant on something like in your bitcoin, we must think of our safetyness and awareness om how we keep safe our money away from the scam and bad things.  Find some things that will help us in maintaining this.

These are the virtual precautions to keep your funds in safe. We can also prepare paper wallets for ourselves by hiding them somewhere in the warehouse. This would avoid any kind of hacking attempts.

Frequent exchange you should use online wallet to exchange that means you have to set up your computer as secure as installing antivirus software or not clicking on the link unknown source. . If you like long-lasting bitcoin you should use a hard wallet.
