Absolutely true. Bitcoin is rolling from up and down really fast at the moment, but still i think it is not good idea to trade bitcoin at the moment, it was jumping really crazy in previous weeks. At the moment i guess it is better to hold and after some stable movement, we can start trading on pumps and dumps, to get some profit.

I do accept that bitcoin price is driven by te increase and decrease in demand for bitcoins.But the difference in fall of price will be low if that's the only reason.Another main reason for huge rise and fall of bitcoin price is the FUD periodically spread by big whales to buy bitcoins from newbies at a cheaper price.Whatever the FUD spread,bitcoin is unstoppable coin which would continuously rise in price despite such activities.So,invest in bitcoins with confidence.

The price will have lots of variations for a long time before bitcoin becomes a commonly used technology. It is still new and unpredictable so it is to be expected. Overall there should be a gradual increase so in a few years the price should be higher even with fluctuations.

Why we cannot do both, put 50% of your capital on long term holding, and use the rest to trade that way you can get the benefits of both ways of earning money with bitcoin, you get to benefit from the rapid changes in the price of bitcoin and you also benefit from the long term appreciation that bitcoin has.

Yes it is like a roller coaster, where our adrinalin must be strong because it is a bitcoin price that can not be predicted, while the price is up maybe we are still in safe stage, and if the price is down, it will make the bitcoin users into panic. Bitcoin is decentralized so expect the volatility of it. Bitcoin's value only depends on the market's demand. If the Market's demand is high, you can expect an increase on its value. As of now, Bitcoin's volatility is quite unpredictable, maybe if more people will invest in Bitcoin, it'll make it somehow less volatile. But we are now experiencing continuous pumps after the fork. We cam expect for more because of its success. Bright future for Bitcoin.

Even we know in our economy that net price comes in sometimes higher or lower value, same in bitcoin (BTC) there is unstable, inflation or deflation, and uneven monetary values. I think this is similar to the dollar conversion peso or to any other currency. A bit roller coaster right though.

Yes. With the current price, I think all of us should hold by now. The price is still going up and I'm expecting it will up until Aug 22 or Aug 23. We may see a few dips, but investors will not be fazed by it and will continue to buy. Only few will sell on this price, may just a portion of their bitcoin but not all. I will still continue to hold my bitcoin and will not sell whether their is a dip because a year from now bitcoin price will reach $10000 so think of the profits you are going to make just by holding now.

Now we are going up, but that doesn't change the fact that we are on a really big rollercoaster. I noticed couple threads this days, people are asking when we will see correction, if there will be correction in next couple days, a week then this is a great time for selling, or waiting just a bit more and then sell and then buy again after correction. Indeed bitcoin price movement can be seen as a rollercoaster, and this ride will last for years. Buy bitcoins while it's time and enjoy the ride and excitement.

LOL, don't think anyone with a signature campaign posting here for 0.03 a week is a tycoon. If we where all rich to bitcoin we would be lying under the sun in Hawia, living off bitcoin's growth.

It is no surprise that bitcoin is a super volatile currency. In the last 2 weeks alone, bitcoin fell from 2.9K to 1.9K and then recovered to 2.9K for a couple of days before then rising to 3.7K. I think you should never try to predict bitcoin, since it is super unpredictable. Buy when it is low and sell when it is high and you will be happy.

Sometimes btc is like a roller coaster because The value of currency is not stable  somtimes it is in the high position sometimes it is in the bottom just like what i say btc is not stable we have time to prepare  we have time to invest to save until the high value is come.

That's right bitcoin price is raising up and falling down like a roller coaster but now we are on the climax because bitcoin value was rapidly raised up. However, we need to accept that fact that after raising up we need to ready to fall down.

Bitcoin's price movements are very much similar to roller coaster. Not only bitcoins but the whole crypto world is a roller coaster. The prices of all digital currencies are unstable and can pump or dump anytime. So, we all need to be very careful about dealing with these phases successfully. But a long term holder never need to worry on this part of crypto world imho.

I think the reason why you said btc is a roller coaster because it is volatile. There is a time it dump and there is a time that is extremely pump.
