He will become rich ? I think he is already rich with his millions of earning everyday from the users who bought's his product like windows operating system and Microsoft utilities. With his company being one of the the top tech companies in the world who provides operating system that has been distrubed for almost a decade and with it's added revenue feature in their new os windows 10 that would increase his net worth to trillion. I guess he doesn't want to invest in bitcoin because he it's a waste of time and want to focus in his business instead but who knows.

Microsoft has a lot of branches around the world and therefore nothing prevents them to accept bitcoins. They are doing it. The US government can dictate terms only in America. However, I don't think Bill Gates invests in crypto. For him it is just extra money. In the crypto currency investing currency speculators. This is their issue.

I'm not so sure about that, Microsoft is a company created in America and the US laws can be very broad in its application, even if a subsidiary in another country did something, microsoft will still be liable in the US too, that is why US companies are very cautious to try to not provoke the ire of uncle Sam.

In fact, it is not only about companies registered and operating in the US with their subsidiaries in some other country doing something which the American authorities might not quite like that will suffer severe consequences home, in the US. It is not even about some foreign companies having subsidiaries or branches in the US. It is just about any company in the world even if it has nothing to do with the US in general and the US government in particular at all. The Swiss banks had been forced to disclose personal info of the American citizens which kept their money in these Swiss banks in Switzerland itself

Because Bitcoin is a anonymous currency.Who ever invest nobody know who has invested by whom it is invested.Generally you just created account on your name which is not even  belong to your Identity Card.While banks investment does.

That depends on the way you bought your bitcoin, if you bought through an exchange, like coinbase, with a credit card then your bank knows that you bought bitcoin, the exchange know that you bought bitcoin as well, and probably your government knows too, the average person is not going to know but you can bet that all of those that are powerful know you did buy bitcoin.

If this is not the case, then it is not clear what you disagree with. This "local" discussion is about whether Microsoft is going to break the American laws abroad. The conclusion is that they are not since American laws de facto have global scope. This is not about anyone knowing or not about you investing in Bitcoin. Anyway, it simply doesn't make sense for Bill Gates to invest in Bitcoin unless out of pure curiosity on his part. Bitcoin is just too small to be of any significance to a person of Bill Gates caliber (from an investment point of view)

Dude Bill Gates' is already a rich person why does he need bitcoin in his life. And if you are wandering if why does he doesn't hire any people for his company to have workers, well he has all he need to survive in this life even though his company go through bankruptcy he can live. Bitcoin is better than you have to carry money and of course is very convenient to use directly if doing transactions that are of considerable value. Bitcoin users describe not to be anonymous users. Come on, Bill Gates is Bill Gates, for sure he knows it.  He is well versed on what is happening around especially with what is new and about technologies.
 Especially that bitcoin is a digital currency.  Microsoft is already famous no need for it to be paired on something.  But you are right maybe if Bill Gates will acknowledge bitcoin perhaps it could help bitcoin to be more popular.  But who knows, perhaps he is one of the consultant of this bitcoin thing.

I don't know what are your trying to say but a whale base on this market means he can control over the market because he got the most of the supply or he has a lot of money to use to buy a lot of the percentage of supply and control the market because of the manipulation that can be done by just having the most of the supply and also the power of having a lot of money or capital.

Agreed, he's rich enough as well has a bigger earning from what he innovated. In a documentary saw that Bill Gates is one among the popular person who has made an investment into bitcoin. Also several news came that bitcoin is soon getting accepted on the Microsoft. He recognises it, because he too an technology evolutionist.

What makes you think that one of the richest person on Earth doesn't know about crypto currency or bitcoin? I am very sure that he knows about bitcoin and he is taking time on knowing events about bitcoin. Bill Gates is such a superb rich, I think there's no need to tell the whole world that he's into bitcoin. As long as they getting something to this well it doesn't matter anymore. Cryptocurrency is such a hit today so for sure a lot of investors are gettin' attracted to this.
