BUY high sell low ?

You don't need to be an economist to understand that simple truth! BUY low SELL high, of course!

Sounds simple, but we don't know when we must buy and sell. Just like current situation, almost all altcoin falling and with bitcoin too. Is this the best time to buy on low price? Or it will keep falling? Or it will rise soon? We don't know. That's why there are other people said buy high and sell higher

Yeah no one knows which is the lowest price to buy and highest price to sell as if we buy today then we may see price going even lower in coming days and that would make us regret on our decision and same goes while selling as on one knows which is the best price to sell bitcoins.

but if we are learning about making analysis then we can guess the lowest price to buy and highest price to sell, at least we have a clue in how much range of the price. after we make analysis, we can place our order buy or order sell and waiting our order is filled. without making analysis, we are risk our bitcoin and this will make us to lose some value.

Buy High, Sell Low is something that traders cant avoid even those who are into trading for quite some time now is not exempted on doing this. There are times when waiting for the price of a coin takes some time and you have to cancel and sell low to swing to another coin with higher possibilities of earning more.

In trading patience is one of the key aspects. If you don't have the patience, and close positions just because things aren't going as you were hoping, you're a greedy gambler.

I am an occasional trader myself, and in some cases it may take a while before I end up in a position where I can cash out profits, or enter the market.

But the main thing here is that I stick to my positions at all cost. If I need to wait 1 week, I'll wait 1 week. If I need to wait 2 weeks, I'll wait 2 weeks, and the list goes on. Eventually your patience will pay off.

Yeah, it is happen in some causes, not traders do this mistake usually. Actually, some ordinary people who have no correct information and they are new in trading, then they do this mistake. Actually it is a frustration when we buy bitcoin or other coins in a high price and wait for the highest price, and continuously look the price down than the fear of loss and frustration wise we sell our coins and think may be we save ourself from a big lose. But in fact we have done mistake.

Well, I guess buying at high prices and selling at low prices is common to traders. Although disadvantageous, it requires quick action to sell. You should be aware of such a thing if you do not want to lose a lot of money.

Why would people buy high and sell low? That would make you lose money and likely all of your money will be gone in minutes.

Not even sure why people want to go for this topic, I don't think it is good advise nor good strategy.

If you bothered to read the original post its not his advice, its a statement of fact that most noob traders do this. OP's advice is to put orders ahead of time to avoid emotions taking over.

Yes! I also think the same. If you have good control over emotions, you won’t do such blunders of buying high and selling low. Bitcoin trading requires good analysis of crypto market and tries to learn from others mistakes, not from your own. Mostly, inexperienced investors panic when prices dump and commit such mistakes.

It is actually pretty simple, buy low meaning set them to a buy order at a low price then sell them meaning set also in a sell order for your target price and that's how you do trading.

You are right almost all of the new traders, they buy on high price and sell low, they think the trend of price will be more down but the price goes up again, to control the emotions in trading altcoins or another altcoins, we must have method to prediction of price (usually analisys technical) before open order buy and close on the market if we have got the profit include must do cut lost if we are wrong prediction of price.

You can control your emotions it's not so hard i used to be a hardcore gambler and now i have reduced gambling extensively and decided to trade after many recommended me to do so. Everything i bought was in negative i kept controlling and listening to others that bitcoin has increased now altcoins will also increase and that only happened. Just forget you ever bought any coins and check after a month and sell for profit

This happen because some bitcoiner are panicking.They  sell their bitcoin now even in low price because they might scared of bitcoin may die.And some selling their bitcoin even if it is in a low price because they need money and others are scared to robbed their bitcoin because some are robbed by scammer.So they sold their bitcoin now even in a cheap price.

i think very little people may have the same gurds that you have, but i think majority of the people find it very hard to have control over their emotions, they cannot control their emotions specially when they are playing gambling and making money, actually they want increase their investment in gambling more and more and in fact it make them more selfish and greedy and want play again again because of having no control  over their emotions.

most fundamental trading principle

the problem with this is everyone has different opinion about the 'low' and the 'high'
this is what i think is separating noob and experienced trader.
while noob too early to buy and too late to sell , with more experience in trading , this entry/exit point deficit will be minimized thus making profit

i also found that technical analysis is less applicable in cryptotrading. i follow 1 simple strategy with moving average and thats bringing me steady profit every trade.

That's right, because not all altcoins have good potential in the future and that patience very suitable to use for altcoins that have good potential, but if that altcoins do not have good potential we better sell before the price is crash, although we not earn a good profit in that sale.

It is very difficult to guess which alt coin will become the road in the future. I prefer to trade coins quickly. I do not buy alternative coins for long-term storage. For these purposes, I buy only bitcoin, because I trust this coin

At least I get experience / new knowledge from this picture. But i did not get any.
I'm not very smart in managing emotions, I just know traders must be patient and do not panic. That's enough for me.
