This thing will make some people curious in wrong side. But the fact is bitcoin will gonna solve its problem this coming august especially the transaction problem that people are totally questioning and agonizing. This will not be the end of bitcoin for sure the good thing will happen in bitcoin. We do not need to worry things with it. Just fixing things then everything will be back to normal logs will be lessen.

Why do you think it will end? What blog have you read?

Anyway, it's not like 100% guaranteed that bitcoin will split, theres a chance though. So far (via coin.dance), looks like Segwit2x is on the lead. If you would like to learn more about the scaling issues and bitcoin's 'political' problem, I suggest researching and reading about softforks and hardforks.

In my own point of view, it's neither of the two. Bitcoin will never end on that day but let's wait for that date to come because it's the final judgment if it does. Everything will be fine I guess, lets not panic.

The chains could split, this could happen, but Bitcoin is not going to vanish, it will not end. Like for many changes so far that Bitcoin has gone through people always paniced and made different theories but every time Bitcoin survived and actualy nothing so crucial hasn't happen. So it will be this time.

Since everyone is bothered about reducing the transactions charges and not about the broader picture i guess the network upgrade could solve the said issue,but will it change the broader issues,i highly doubt that,will it end up being a disaster ,i do not think so.Lets see how it will go.

Scary it seems but that does not mean that bitcoin will end.  If that will happen, little by little I will exchange my bitcoin into cash.  Call what ever you want but I do not want to regret something  my life.  But whichever its way, for sure it will still soar high like an eagle.

I am not an expert but one thing I am sure of is that a fork causing a split will not cause the end of bitcoin. Sure, according to some experts, this may definitely affect the prices of the two chains where one will be dominant and the other will just be striving to survive if possible. The dominant one will probably keep bullying the other cryptocurrencies or not, I don't know and I am sure non one knows! Though incomparable, but same happened to ethereum and we all know how ethereum classic is fairing (surprisingly trying though!).

There are so many people who had said that bitcoin will end on a specific date or year and yet bitcoin is still here and keeps on growing, I am not sure but probably even an expert can't even make an accurate prediction about this maybe it's better for you to just ignore those information you've read from a certain site and let's just wait for what is going to happen on the said date .

As far as my understanding is correct since Im still new to bitcoin world, even with a chain split, there is still bitcoin. And for the price, it depends whether in what chain majority will support. Still bitcoin isn't ended but just divided. Furthermore, price increase is still possible.

Don't just read the result but rather read the inside stuff of what will really happen after August 1.

I do really agree your point because chain split doesn't make difference. It's just devide may it result to better transaction speed and low fees

May I see the site? Can you send it here? I have never heard / seen the news. Maybe this is just a lie that is trying to destroy bitcoin, so investors and countries planning to adopt bitcoin so delay or even cancel that intention. This is just my opinion

Bitcoin is not going to end because of that, however the chances of a split are there in which case probably the price is going to suffer a heavy correction, but now it seems the miners are seeing this and there is the chance we may get segwit activated before that, I hope we do, but I will not be surprised if thing did not happened that way.
