Actually, this is an original idea for me. Bitcoin as a wedding gift? That is so cool, man. People are tired of giving gifts such as chocolates, perfumes, cash, and so on. They want to try something new and original. And I believe that bitcoin is suitable. It is not only applicable for weddings, but also for birthdays. So, thank you for this idea. I am going to give bitcoin as a gift to my friend and I am very sure he will get happy because as we know that the bitcoin price is always growing. So it will be a valuable gift.

Of course I would! I usually give money as a weeding gift because I think that choosing a proper present creates not necessary problem. What if I bought something that newlyweds already have? Probably they would sell it. Bitcoin is a form of a long term invesment, I would recommend it to everyone I know. I could even help them with understanding Bitcoin.

I would give some bitcoin as a wedding gift only if the groom knows about it and is familiar with its usage. I would create a new paper wallets, print it out and then send some BTC there. I'm still not sure how much of it should I give. Bitcoin will be better than cutlery or some useless things to a new house. I would like to get bitcoin as a wedding gift.

that would be fine and I think it is also fine with newlywed couple that has no to a just little idea about bitcoin - that would certainly be more exciting for them when they get a taste of what bitcoin is and the feeling of having it.

I'd rather gift something physique, just because I don't like to gift money. Rather buy something with btc and then give it. I feel like money is not really a personal gift.

respected that mate. it really depends on each individual, if love giving some personalized gifts to the newly-wed couple, that is also fine. As long as we are happy and comfortable with what we are giving them, that is really totally fine.

I think it depends on which person is going to be married. If that person is not a bitcoin fan or don't have any knowledge about bitcoin i think it's not a good idea but if we want them to know about bitcoin then it's a good idea because you are giving them a slight information about it by giving them bitcoin. They will ask you what you have give them and that's the start they will using it if they think it will help them using it.

yeah, I find it interesting to give newly-wed couples that have just little to no idea at all about bitcoin and give them a foretaste of how it is working and what it could be in the near future. That will be very interesting to them and they may even keep talking about it even during on their honeymoon and they will never forget you and keep thinking of you in their momentous event in their lives.

I do not mind giving Bitcoin as a wedding gift, there is one condition though, they should know how to accept and send bicoin.  If they do not know how to do it then it would be a waste of money if I send it to a person that know nothing about it.  Aside from that, bitcoin is not a small amount, it is huge and should be treasured by the one we are sending it as a gift.

I think is a good idea, giving a wedding gift using bitcoin, this will benefit the married people, they can sell bitcoin when the price goes up, but it will be very difficult for those who don't know bitcoin and don't have internet network.  Grin

That right, this will make a headache for weddings that do not know about internet or virtual coins Grin
If all their families know about bitcoin it seems like a good idea to be their long-term savings for their children later on Wink

This is a good idea especially that it's unique. Surely awe-inspiring and joyful, they will feel amazed when this happens. So when I get married this is what I do, of course I need to know bitcoin so I can not tell her what I gave her
Unique are often given to specials and no doubt that wedding of someone occur once in a life of everyone mostly and if such an expensive and most worthy is given on this special occasion to someone so it will be double wishes consider; one his marriage and the other is continuous business and future asset. Gift should be unique like bitcoin but if affordable.

Bitcoin as a wedding gift is the most practical gift someone could give, the newlyweds can have an investment on their early years as a married couple and they can use it after how many years and bitcoin price would be very high by that time. So yes, I am okay with giving bitcoin as a wedding gift.

For me it would depend on whether the couple already knows about bitcoin or not because I won't turn their wedding gift into a lecture about the value of bitcoin.
what a nice answer yeah your right, its an awkward thing to lecture them about bitcoin while they are just married and have lots of things to do,although teaching them about bitcoin is an interesting topic, but not ON THEIR WEDDING DAY OR AFTER coz it is a precious moment for them
