It can be somehow because bitcoins can provide us money because by just simply buying bitcoins the value can either grow up or fall down so it can really end the world poverty if the people will pursue this thing. Because there are some jobs in here that dp no discriminate because the identity is secured like in this forum no matter what you are no matter what you can do as long as you have an internet connection you can easily gain money in this but just like any things all have exemptions. That is very silly. The fact that bitcoin rallies and makes money for traders does absolutely nothing for world poverty. Those in poverty are not doing trading, buying bitcoins, do not have a computer or an internet connection, cannot afford the tx fees or anything about bitcoin. Even IF they were somehow able to get into it eventually the price would start declining and then they are poor again. And it would have been middle/upper class bitcoiners getting rich off of the last dollar of poor people - how ethical. Bitcoin isn't creating any money. It's a zero sum game (MINUS electricity) where money is being redistributed from investor to investor to trader. That means eventually it reaches a saturation point and whoever gets in last loses. Wall street is already getting in, and these poor people would be last, meaning you are giving money from poor people to wall street. Numbers moving around in a computer is not putting food on billions of tables. We need to ACTUALLY solve the world's problems somehow. Bitcoin could help slightly by solving world corruption, and maybe by providing banking services for the unbanked, but it wouldnt be because poor people 'got on the train' and bought low and sold high.

Before concluding something, we should atleast remember that bitcoin has a limited circulation and could possibly end sooner or later. Relying on bitcoin about the solution of world poverty is not a bad thing but bitcoin will never be able to that specially right now that it's not yet legal worldwide. We can't expect also that everyone will use it so let us just leave it to the government, let them work on world poverty.

The only way for Bitcoin to end world poverty is to have the poor actually participate in trading or investing in Bitcoin. Otherwise, only those did will gain from this. Education is very important, but I simply don't know how and where to start. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Yes I am certain that Bitcoin along with the other cryptocurrencies will be able to ease out or lessen world poverty but not totally end world poverty because Bitcoin and all the other cryptocurrencies only exist in areas which have a mobile or internet connection. We all know that not all the part of the world is connected to internet and mobile communication so there will be still some isolated places in which bitcoin could not reach and those people living in those places will never enjoy FREE MONEY.

Yes! Bitcoin has the potential to end world poverty and could offer a full automation in our way of living. But actually, we already have so many solutions to end poverty before bitcoin was discovered and yet we're still suffering. Why? Just because of the inefficiency due to its strong hindrances. Like in a tree, even how hard you cut, it will still grow unless you remove its root. Meaning, it's better for us if we remove first the root of poverty such as corruption, criminality, violence and others before applying those solutions that we think. If we achieved this, then that certain solution (which is bitcoin) will now become efficient. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The main problem of poverty is due to the wrong financial system, most countries do not care about poor people who need capital assistance for business so they continue to be poor and difficult to develop. bitcoins with decentralized systems can be one solution.

Yes for me the bitcoin can end world poverty like it has provide a good income to those educated people who are living without job they can join signature campaign in this forum or they can make white paper for the managers. There are so many people in this forum who are very happy to be the part of this forum. Bitcoin is providing facilities to the needy people.

I'm sure that if bitcoin can be a good solution for poverty, it's because bitcoin embraces a decentralized system that all depends on the user and the economy can be determined together.

For me, bitcoin cannot end world poverty. World poverty is a perrenial problem of our world. There are alot of activities conducted, they also formed organizations, but still, it doesnt end, it just keep on increasing over the years. Bitcoin wont solve it because Bitcoin needs a lot of money to invest, computer, etc, in which those poor people has none of them.

The world wouldn`t need a new technology to end poverty just less greed. In my opinion we have enough resources so btc would be just a new way if we really wanted to end it.
It’s one of the big challenge to bitcoin because to end world poverty bitcoin must be in every single country around the world and it’s also very important to make bitcoin legal so we need to support bitcoin as much as we can because bitcoin is here to help us and if we stop support bitcoin so I don’t think so bitcoin be able to end world poverty and I’m sure if bitcoin reached to every country so there is no doubt bitcoin will end world poverty.

Bitcoin can't end world poverty but only to reduce it. Poverty is already a big issue since the beggining of the world that if the past civilizations did not solve the poverty in which the populations are small how much more today that it become so huge and difficult to handle. Bitcoin is not easy to handle specially by the poor in which the need of education is a must that any government can't able to support them.

It could be but it's only a dream. Bitcoin can't sustain the world just to end poverty. How could bitcoin exist for long term if all people will work bitcoin.
However bitcoin could only reduce the world's poverty. Like those people that always has an internet and to those people are not employed yet.

Yes I really believe that Bitcoin can end the world poverty if all the people in the world will believe on bitcoin and start doing bitcoin paying activities but not all the people in the world believes on bitcoin, there are still many of those people who don't even know about bitcoin simply because there place has no internet connection yet because there are still many places in the world which are disconnected to information technology.

Yes, it can because it can give you money if you only have knowledge about the internet. Poverty is very popular here in my country so Bitcoin can help them.
Bitcoin is no doubt can be very much helpful to the community and cam help this world a better place to live. It can eradicate the poverty from this world and can play a vital in changing the economic condition of this world. But the fact is it is not at all possible for bitcoin to eliminate the world poverty entirely from this world as there are number of people who are unaware of bitcoin.

for me no because blockchain technology associated to bitcoin requires internet. Poor countries does not provide internet access to it's people so they don't know much about bitcoin.

the proper and proper use of government may make poverty less. we can not say that it will help, but, I think the use of the right bitcoin will make the pessimism less in the world.

The existence of cryptocurrencies makes it possible to give every citizen in the world a stack of gold. The currency thus given out will not be valuable..

I don't think many people in poor parts of the world even know the existence of bitcoin, and it is very difficult to end global poverty. Bitcoin is for those keen to encrypt digital money and people who are keen to invest to change their lives and make them rich!

Unless govts (yes, GOVERNMENTS) extend efforts in educating people about cryptos, they can never end poverty in the world. Then again, too many things govts fail to do.

Not so easily. It might enhance our livelihood, especially cut off some extra money wasted on middlemen in basic transactions globally but to remove poverty can't be easily attainable.
