I think bitcoin doesn't help to solve the problem of world poverty, because that he is like any other investment like gold or diamonds or stocks. The rich will use it to solved this problem if they want to do a lot of adjust a team work then solved this problem.

I think I agree that bitcoin can't solve it many country has always have a problem with poverty even my country have it, I started bitcoin almost 4 months and I don't received yet my payment for my participating their campaign, I mean that's how it looks like bitcoin can't make it even he was 9 years of existing and that thing can possibly help people if they can understand bitcoin.

As for me we are not depending bitcoin to solve worlds poverty, it can really help our needs but not the entire worlds poverty, how could it be that many of us are lack of knowledge and not educated to go this through, some are poor because of laziness, overpopulated, and of course corruption of government, we only our selves will persevere to solve our each adversity.

It can be used to alleviate poverty to some extent, just like the other assets. For example, if someone donates all his gold to the poor people, then at least some of them will use that gold to get out of poverty. Same with Bitcoin as well. If some Bitcoin billionaire donates all his coins to the poor, then a lot of people could be rescued out of poverty. But it is never practical. In most of the cases the poor are going to use these free handouts to purchase alcohol and drugs.

Bitcoin is not a magic wand which will end world poverty. It simply doesn't have the power to end such a massive thing. Also bitcoin is not a payment system anymore. We have moved to a different goal long back, when the confirmation time increased and transaction fees hiked. These confirmation time and transaction fees is going to be increased again and again. So we will move from the initial goal further.

Bitcoin has now purely became an investment asset. IT can provide a huge return which any other conventional investment will never be able to offer ever. So I take bitcoin purely as an investment and a trading asset. I earn profit  and keep it for the future.

I think bitcoin will greatly affect the economy of the country. It brings a lot of profit to members participating in ICO campaigns or transactions.
If the investors are lucky people, they will have a lot of wealth and I know this very well. I have many friends who have become very rich by joining the electronic money market. First we need to analyze the root cause of poverty. The main reasons are over-population, corruption and lack of education. And I don't think that Bitcoin can eradicate any of these root causes. So there is no chance that Bitcoin will be able to reduce the incidence of poverty in the world.

Poverty is not as easy as counting to break or end, well there is a possibility if users who earn much money will help those and or government stops corruption because it is the one who should be blamed for this. Just my opinion.
