New here and had a question. Where is the best place to find new alt coins that are coming out? I figure if you can get in and mine them even for the first few hours you can grab up a bunch of coins and then hope for the best for that coin later on. Is this sensible or should you stick with a select few coins and mine them as much as possible what do you look for in a alt coin? Thanks!

Most coins are announced or pre-announced here in the alt coins section.

Problem is that a billion new alt coins are released every day

It's not a problem as they're mostly worthless and not worth your time anyway.

Indeed, but the market will become so saturated people probably wont even bother mining most of them.

Yep, exactly.

Maybe one or two will come out that have some unique or interesting features, but most will just die off or be minded by only a handful of people. It's the peeps who jump on these coins that propagate their existence. If nobody mined them they'd die straight away.

I've bought some Nxt and will most likely invest in eMu, not really interested in BTC clones at this point.

Miners run the entire network. No miners = no network.

Exactly. Just like now anyone can spend $.50 to purchase a domain name and set up ones own website.

But google.com is worth $1140.02 a share right now.

i Guess it's time to mine some digibytes.
It's hard to find the right coin when there are so many new coins coming out every day.
