NXT total amount of NXT has decreased from the current supply on the site.

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=1739068987193023818 (genesis account)

currently states -999,997,104 which means 999,997,104 is the new total supply.

Isn't it disingenuous to have AuroraCoin so high up (encouraged people to buy) when the vast, vast majority of the coins are pre-mined and not part of the market yet? Its true market cap is around 500-600K, not 70 million.

Auroracoin has been available in the marketplace for weeks now and I would hope everyone who has purchased it has done their due diligence and was aware of the premine for the people of Iceland.  The market then set a price based upon those fundamentals.  With the listing on coinmarketcap.com today, those fundamentals have not changed but the price has gone up due to wider awareness and more people coming to understand the potential ramifications of this project.

In my opinion, Auroracoin is the most exciting altcoin of 2014 and the market cap reflects that.

All you can do is laugh at the farce these clowns are turning the crypto scene into.

retards everywhere...

please make your own currency 99.999% premined and lets see if it turns out in coinmarket top 10, oh shit it wont thats right. Because it is not the premine which makes it valuable but the idea that the whole nation can adopt it.

Blackcoin ALL DAY +1 - A unique coin with a mix of POW and ends with a POS

Look at trade volume on MINTPAL - It has not even hit the first 24 hours there and already:

Volume:
203.940 BTC  and counting!

So, potcoin is showing up with ? on cmc right now. It is listed on the volume page though, why is this? Both the api from the block explorer and cryptorush are working so I don't see why it shouldn't work.

In my view, listing three Pandacoins is a bad idea and sets a very dangerous precedent. If someone creates another Litecoin could it be listed?

This policy could create a ton of confusion for people new to cryptocurrencies considering many newbies use coinmarketcap to find new coins to trade.

Just my two cents.  Cheesy

Just a heads up to everyone. Typing "+1" and "add X coin" does nothing.
If you submit the coin with the form in the OP it will be listed. Simple as that.

If you do anything else it will have no effect. Form = listed ... anything else = no effect.

My thought is this.

Add a number after a coin if there are multiple coins with the same name.

Pandacoin(1)
Pandacoin(2)

In the order that they were listed on the site.

Also if you just look at the coin symbol you can see it's different but then you have to scroll your eyes over
which burns calories... I know.

The World doesn't need three Pandacoins.  Grin

Probably the one that was listed first should get the listing as long as it's active and alive. There really should only be one listed.

OMG as if it makes a difference. If I invent a coin and call it Bitcoin, will you sue me? And if my Bitcoin grows stronger than your favorite Pandacoin, would it not qualify to be listed? I find it actually fun to see several coins with the same name. The name should not be an identifier.  Grin
