I do appreciate that someone is trying keep some order for all the chaos with alts but I fear it may just be a bit futile and only promote more coins trying to get the spotlight.

So I'm playing around with a new ranking page that bases market cap on the available supply (available to the public), please check it out and let me know what you think.

http://coinmarketcap.com/available-supply.html

Coins affected:
-AIRcoin (exclude 2500000 premine)
-Auroracoin (exclude 10500000 airdrop)
-Aphroditecoin (exclude 22500000 airdrop)
-Greececoin (exclude 16000000 airdrop)
-Marinecoin (exclude 9720000000 premine)
-Mastercoin (exclude 56316 reserved for developers)
-Ripple (number distributed as shown here: https://www.ripplelabs.com/xrp-distribution/)
-SiliconValleyCoin (exclude 17500000 airdrop)
-SpainCoin (exclude 25000000 airdrop)

Any others that need to be adjusted?

That is sooo much better and you need to make it the default page. It is a much more accurate snapshot of the market and it will stop the proliferation of these pre-mined scam country coins that rely on a high initial placement on your site to drum up interest before the pump and dumps that give crypto a bad name.

Nice work.

It looks interesting. I notice Auroracoin is 4th place on the original page but 26th place on the new page!

Awesome. You forgot Electronic Gulden. Same premine as the other country coins.

Ok I have watched this permined convo go on too long without speaking up.. registered finally...

If you do it this way then all of the coins that are sitting in wallets will not be counted. That means they hold value only after you say they have moved enough hands.
Freshly mined or premined a coin is a coin and holds the same value as the ones in your wallet. Market cap should be looked at more as if all production of the coin where to stop at that very moment, how many coins exist and at what price.

I'm all for making sure that everyone is informed and brining attention to permined coins but, This is not the way. The disclaimer was enough to let people know that a large volume was not being exchanged. But to say those coin dont hold the same value is not ture.

haha. Even you know that's total BS. That's why you didn't post it with your real account. Are you the NigeriaCoin dev?

On the 47% Coin Distribution Symmetry allocation, yes it's a premine.  But, it's never going to hit the market, it will be destroyed via an automated script on an ultra secure private server behind a firewall and NAT.  The coins will be destroyed on a regular basis and the burn address will be viewable from the block explorer.  There are two benefits from this CDS block.
  • 0% inflation due to proof of work mining.
  • coinmarketcap is forced to calculate marketcap of NGC based on the entirety of the CDS block in addition to new coins, which gives this coin extra visibility.

Good day,

I am making a submission for BitLeu.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=510353

We aim a little high, to be the only currency that will allow people to invest their cryptos in real life businesses.
I know many will start screaming 'scam' again as it is another premine with 50 % but there will be no airdrop, there will be no sudden drop of the coins to the exchanges.
We aim to really become the cryptocurrency of our country.

So many people have shown interest and support as of now and it is starting to grow.
The logo on the coin depicts the monument in Majadahonda, Spain that is about the Martyrdom of Mota and Marin. You can find more info about it here: http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Mota-Marin_Martyrdom
We are their followers and we follow their principles. I know it might make few people in our government angry, but we still live in that 'communist' state.

There will be a conference held in Iasi City regarding the coin and the investment plans in eco-energy solutions like solar power plants. This is going to be a coin that will find a real use for itself and for other crypto-currencies.

Thanks a lot for taking us into account.
