Hi Gliss,

How hard would it be to add the daily trade volume of the Nxt asset Exchange to the Nxt 24hr volume? Nxt is being used to buy assests and not just other coins and so the coinmarketcap picture is incomplete at the moment.

In the last 24hrs, there has been 1.4Million Nxt traded on the Asset Exchange that isn't captured in the current 24hr volume. It would add an extra $88,000 dollars to the $97,000 that you are showing and give a complete picture of the amount of NXT changing hands.

Source: http://nxtreporting.com/assetcap.php

I can put you in touch with the webmaster of nxtreporting.com if you need to ask any questions about implementing this.

I think you're wrong here. Even CryptoNote developers said the BCN team exists since 2012 (https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11&start=10).
And have you seen my research of BCN blockchain?  Have a look: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.msg7467098#msg7467098 . A lot of people used Bytecoin from the beggining!

For sure Bytecoin devs have a lot of coin, but gossips about the 80% in their hands are ridiculous.

Flower1024 is a bought account purchased in order to promote BCN:

Check one of his old post here:
https://bitcointa.lk/threads/repaid-i-want-to-short-20btc-until-january.67496/

Then look at the website he owns, and on that domain there is this nice textfile: http://k1024.de/accountsold.txt

You're just digging yourself a hole that is deeper and deeper.

FACT: Bytecoin was a bad attempt at covering up a premine

FACT: Bytecoin has a completely fabricated blockchain

FACT: Bytecoin has 82% of the coins in control of people we don't know

FACT: Bytecoin's blockchain was not observed by anyone who is well known or trusted

FACT: Bytecoin has plenty of advocates...unfortunately they're all newbs who don't count, or bought accounts

FACT: Bytecoin's website (and CryptoNote's) did not exist till the end of last year (same as the CryptoNote whitepaper)

Agreed.

I'm not a hater of XMR of any kind but this is getting out of hands. Literally in every CN-related topic there are XMR people FUDing BCN. And their arguments are not bulletproof to say the least.

Anyway, I think XMR doing a great job promoting CN in it's community but FUD is not a good thing to do.

I'm not "XMR people", I'm an independent observer who is tired of seeing all the bullshit posts from accounts that have been purchased. Nobody cares about your shilling.

+1

I am sure BCN developers as XMR devs and other coins devs have a considerable number of coins but it's usual situation for real world: a group of people holding a significant share of the coins is likely to stabilize the market, that's why when devs hold some number of coins they are interested in promoting their coin

First of all, no one of you can tell it's ''premine'' - there's no official source that can tell it's premine without doubt!
According to coinssource its unknown fact still I am sure it wasn't premined as I've made some researches which confirm the statement.

In the second, your ''facts'' are statement without evidence.
1) There are people who express their own opinions
2) No evidence
3) Do you know people who hold a significant amount of Bitcoins? Or Litecoin? or Dogecoin? That's because of anonymity the coins provide
4) Am I get you right - if someone well known tell you to believe whatever they tell , you'd believe?
There were lots of people who believes Mark Karpeles and where is MTgox now?? and Mark?
5) Bytecoin has plenty of enemies who can only FUD Bytecoin
6) Do not merge Whitepaper and Bytecoin. Even CN devs told that whitepaper was published a lot after BCN launch.

So, as there's no evidence, I insist on removing stars,  Gliss!

Shit dude. The same question.

It's also not a secret that BCN had a huge number of miners. There were also some services on darknet which is about Bytecoin trading. Maybe you can find some nowadays. In my opinion, it's the best proof, that BCN isn't a currency which is bla-bla-bla-premined.

Somebody said that age of currency doesn't mean that coin can't be premined. So give me please the other criterions of premined status

Pff. Ok. Let's talk about what term "premine" exactly means.
Since this idea you can call "Bitcoin" premined and you know why? Because godblessed Satoshi have at least 25% of whole coin supply. So what?

The Bytecoin website DID NOT FUCKING EXIST until February:

It's hilarious how all of the BCN purchased / shill accounts make the same grammatical errors.

We've also had this discussion about Bitcoin before, it's incomparable. Stop trying to save your dying scamcoin.

Wrong - if you check the way blocks were mined over the "2 years" it's clear that under 30 individual CPUs were involved in all mining. If you accept that the code in slow_hash.c was purposely crippled (recalculating static values in every iteration of the loop is not a mistake) then there were less than 10 individual CPUs involved.

People who are "in the know" have come to the same conclusion - Bytecoin is listed under the "Extreme Caution" and "Questionable Cryptocurrency Alternatives" sections of the paper: "An Investor's Investigation Into The Mining Statistics Of Bitcoin Alternatives"

IMO, it's Monero guys who are  pumpers and FUDsters. Monero's guys understand that they would never be as good as BCN for a simple reason - Monero is only a fork. Only BCN devs have enough skills and knowledge about cryptonote tech to make improvements. So, Monero's guys can only copy BCN devs ideas and gossip about ''premining''

In every launch of any coin, I am sure, you'll find a dev team behind a coin with a significant amount of coins
BTW, if we knew about XMR launch we didn't know for a while about an optimizer they created to mine lots of coins for themselves . But there's no stars to mark there was instamine.

+1  to remove the premine designation

From my point of view, what does stand behind ''premine'' everyone understands in their own way. There is only general features to refer to this definition. I can refer even Bitcoin to this definition as I was out of the game till recently.

Unless there's no evidence to tell it's 100% ''premine'' I advise to remove designation , otherwise, there should be lots of coins to be marked by 2 stars on the basis of someone's beliefs

Bitcoin is our past, present and future!

Only BCN devs have enough skills and knowledge about cryptonote tech to make improvements. So, Monero's guys can only copy BCN devs ideas and gossip about ''premining''

You do realize that there is proof Bytecoin was premined over 85%....Uhm the blockchain..you can see all past mined blocks, and over 85% of bytecoins total supply have been mined before it was made public aka Bytecoin has a 85% premine There's simply no argueing with that, as the bytecoin blockchain is proof! Also the "public" Bytecoin miner was not working for a long time, but blocks were still being mined AKA a handful of people were getting the majority of Bytecoins from their own private miner, and now that handful of people own over 85% of all Bytecoins...

Hey fuckface - again, we're not stupid. You're using AN ACCOUNT YOU BOUGHT.

Reference: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/repaid-i-want-to-short-20btc-until-january.67496/#post-1142765 (reference to flower1024's domain / site)

Note on that domain: http://k1024.de/accountsold.txt

"bitcointalk account flower1024 sold. new account name: onemorebtc"

Nobody cares about your shilling.

lol this is nice. Wink

looks like the site got hacked. i was not even aware that there was some text documents on the site.

I really don't want to blame somebody, but your point of view can be right. Why not?
