Do Altcoins really have a future?

No doubt about it that bitcoin have a very good future but it doesn't mean that altcoins have no future, altcoins like Ethereum, ICN, Aeternity, VSL etc have a bright future. we will see ethereum will be the first currency after bitcoin.

Of course altcoins have future, and its usages will be wide. Not only bitcoin will be successful, but altcoins have the specific usages as well. Bitcoin is too slow and not anonymous.

Yes obviously they have a future. But not all altcoins can make the race, but there will be a lot of Altcoins that are going to success with bitcoin! But altcoin will need more time to be like btc. Altcoins like Ethereum, ICN, Aeternity, VSL etc have a bright future.

It does. At this point no body really knows the future. Much like when internet just came out. Nobody knew where and how it could be used.

yeah, you got the point. we cant still predict what will happen on the future , if altcoin or bitcoins will be succesful or not but using the internet as an example is different and will not be the same as cryptocurrency because internet now has many innovations and improvement since the day it was born and introduced to the public , we have seen that it was evolving everyday and new technologies were created and possibly invented because of the internet. so i  can say that these two are not comparable to each other.

Now there are more than 500 coins in addition to bitcoin, and of course they will not be used. Have altcoins of course is the future, but these altcoins can literally be counted on the fingers.

i dont know about the other altcoins but for ETH and litecoin. i guess they will have a future as long as they will be supported. 

Yes you are right bro ethereum and litecoin have a good future and these coins are very good for the  purpose of investing money it gives a very good return to those who invest their money, otherwise besides eth and litecoin there are also many other good coins for investment but before investment we need to see the marketcap of other altcoin because to check the market it is very easily for us to invest money, and hope there will be no problem in future. So to invest money in other altcoin marketcap is very important for us.

I trust Bitcoin will be around for quite a while and will dependably convey a high esteem, however I likewise trust an overall better coin will show up and take lead . This doesn't mean in cost essentially. More like Bitcoin is to Gold as future ?coin is to standard fiat. I believe that the future of Altcoins is there, but not all. Who managed to enter the market first, who has a good technical base and quality goods, he will be on par with bitcoin. The rest, unfortunately, will be on the roadside of time.

There are many coins that are worth our investment but at the same time there are much more coins that are completely useless and like always it is up to us to find the difference and invest in the right coin.

Some of the alternate currencies such as ripple can be made mandatory to be mass-ly adopted. Imagine you want to transfer funds from one centralized bank to another via a bank and the bank is using ripple blockchain, in this case you would have no choice. It would be like netbanking of future.

Well some alts do have future such as ETH, Waves, Monaco, Ark, Neo and etc. There are alts that shows potential and most likely to a have a brigther future. As of today they are still progressing and building a stand on the market. Bitcoin's future is already given. Though these alts could follow the path of Bitcoin it might not be that close but somehow near to a successful future. But not all alts have the same potential, some are just there barely holding on and some are a total waste. So if you are to invest be sure to study the trend as this could help you decide whether to engage or not.

The future of some altcoins though and not all altcoins. You are right as we keep seeing some established altcoins, we will start seeing more usage for them and with that their future is mostly certain.

We have seen some altcoins with different kind of products which obviously will carve a niche for them and the industry they have targeted eventually which is why the usage of the coin will always continue except for some shitty coins of course.
