Do Altcoins really have a future?

The future or success of a certain alternative coins is highly dependent with the investors, holders and users. When a certain project is raised and fund with blockchain or ICO the target value will depend on how many will buy the token or coin for that alt coin.

I am still thinking of investing in altcoin, but according to my friend altcoin will continue to float as an alternative to investment. I am still looking for reverence whether altcoin is also good for long term investment

I think not all altcoins have progress, certainly a lot of coins that have good potential in the future, both for investment and trade, and coins must be dominated by old coins like ETH, LTC, DOGE, DASH, XMR and XRP, and I think These coins develop well over time.

I genuinely think it depends on the functionality of the token.

Yeah i think some altcoins have a future. it's depends on the project will success or fail.

some altcoins do, most don't have a future because they have no value other than speculation. they don't provide solutions to current problems and they aren't original and mostly copies of existing cryptocurrencies. the altcoins that have good teams and a good vision will survive.

I think Altcoin will improve us, it's real. In the future people will be able to make gambling fake, in most of the future. We all know that most of them have been created for profit and nothing else.

Yes, Altcoins have very good future because many altcoins like XRP, ETH , STRAT and WAVES are growing coins. XRP coin is already used by many banks due to its low transaction fee so many banks already connected with XRP.

The same question was asked when bitcoin was new. We now know the answer to that. The same can be said about altcoins. But not all alt-coins will have the same future as bitcoin. If it is just a copy paste of bitcoins code, then it will be trash. If it does not offer something new or any added value, it will be trash. But if it has a unique characteristic that can be valuable, then I say that coin have a future.

Bitcoin has the more acceptability atm and that's why its in top of all coins. That not means Altcoins have no future. The only barrier in my opinion is the acceptance in different field. If the Altcoin make a place in different merchant level than all top altcoins will have possible bright future. There is a plenty of use cases for the altcoins to take dominance.

I think that many tokens, which are now depreciated over time. But those that stay will cost good money. Many coins are really backed up by steep ideas.

Altcoins certainly have a future. Although there are now so many frauds, it is undeniable that there will be some high-quality and valuable Altcoins. Though the majority of altcoins will die, a few of them will be huge in the future.
