One of the refunds from my post above was for a JUNE 24 ORDER:

Quote

Code:
Credit: 782.10 BTC
Net amount: +782.10 BTC
Transaction ID: 93d1ee65b2d9454c2c948d3fb4516a1a7bf59cc6f576a6e151d21c29a74be77d

Received Refund.

Thank-you BitSynCom.

I wish you the best in your future endeavours.

Closed the support tickets.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=285477.msg3092767#msg3092767

Bizwoo batch#1 order is from JUNE 8 and still no news or replies to my queries. Nor do I see any recent activity in here or other threads in trying to solve this refund situation. If you look at the the above link you will see how the group buy organizer insisted with Yifu/BitSynCom and therefore now has his refund.
Other group buy organizers like Zefir, SebastianJu have received refunds because they were ACTIVE and insisting. Besides this, those group buy organizers DID NOT KEEP the group buy fee.

My concern now is that because nobody responsible for this group buy is moving their ass and insisting with Yifu/BitSynCom for a refund, those worthless POS chips will get shipped and we are stuck with that crap.

Final note (for now) to this GB organizer ... if you don't have the time or it has caused you much "stress" to organize this, don't get involved in the first place. I have learned my lesson and next time will go for GBs with the mentioned active and honest organizers.

Cheers.

The only update until now is an email from John K letting me know that he has not received confirmation from AVALON yet about the refund. As mentioned before he asked for the refund i.e. sent the form, a few days ago now as you already know. I am waiting for his confirmation about the status of the order on the AVALON shop. John K was the holder of the escrow and it was him who placed the order and therefore it is him that must ask for the refund and get the confirmation, etc. He has been moving this week and therefore has not been available much of the time.

That you do not see me making an update here or posting every single minute does not mean that I have not been trying to get the refund going. I even actioned the request to John K one day before than what I promised before after the survey on the website.  Maybe once I would show you the list of calls to Yifu on my phones' bills for you to tell me if I have not tried to know about the status of the chips, etc. Glad you are not part of others EU group buys where they have not even actioned the refund request. Unfortunately, it is up to Yifu now and hopefully he will process all the refunds requests he's received. But in any case, I do have a life and yes, I do not have time to be here all day and by the way, saying that none other group buys organizers keep any fees is just lying or being bad informed.

Once the refund is received, John K will send the refunds to all the group buyers from GB1 based on this list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqHDrDoprzirdGJXZ1pfaGNCNV9vdS03alo2V09QVkE&usp=sharing

I have already given enough time for buyers to let me know of any issues in the list and therefore I will not be held responsible for any loss due to coins going to wrong or inactive addresses.

Thanks

Thanks for the update.

Compared to what other group buy organizers have done, this one has been very slow. Have a look at Bicknellski for example. Due to this he has received a June 24 order refund.
Have you filed a support ticket for a refund? Anything goes in this game. Yifiu only seems to respond when people start to pressure him.

WRT fees. AFAIK, only steamboat kept the fees.
Besides, you are going against your own Group Buy Conditions. You took the risk but didn't pull through. Are you a man of your word?

Quote
Quick summary of the main advantages and conditions of this Group Buy:

5. Low group buy fees of just bellow 3% to cover the responsibility of organising it. This fee will be released by JohnK once the group buy has completed i.e. all chips delivered to final destination. I will buy my chips from my own pocket.

Cheers.

Hi
I want my chips Smiley
Do you have any news if avalon will deliver soon?

Cheers,
Tom

Tom or any other buyer on GB1, please let me know if you still want the chips as it may be possible to allocate the number of chips you own in our GB1 on SebastianJ's remaining batches.

WRT fees you are indeed bad informed.

And the all chips delivered to final destination statement was refereed to the scenery in which I effectively received the chips but then failed to ship/deliver then to the buyers. Of course it could be interpreter on any other way, unfortunately. Besides neither I kept 3% fees or received the chips.

Greetings, Bizwoo.

I would like to have my 16 Avalon chips from first GB. If you still have 16 chips from second GB for grab (as seen in your own signature), you could cancel my refund of first GB and increment my 16 chips from second GB to a total of 32 Avalon chips, to be sent to nekonos for making 2 Klodike16's, with the hope that Yifu will send you the second batch and not another refund.

Refund request sent in again via the Avalon Store link (was previously sent using the google doc link with no results).

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=141672.msg3111564#msg3111564

The same address is used in both refund requests.

Hi all

News for GB1 were already given by John K above.

Yesterday, group buyers owning just over 7000 chips in the second batch had asked for a refund using the form provided.

Because this was a joined order with others group buyers orginizers in EU, I am in talks with them to organize the refund request. John K seems to be back now and will ask him to action the refund request for batch 2 too.

Please note, that the refunds will be done to the verified BTC address you used to make the payment when buying the chips.

I will publish, during the day, a list of addresses with the number of chips that will be refunded in GB2 for you to verify.

Cheers.
