Hi all
With last notice from avalon, I will cancel PCB assembly related with avalon asic 110 nm. And Klondike 1 or 16 board.
I will not have any fee from chips refund, I have this BTC adress for those who want to contribute: 1QQLSJQ4TBeQv8yAF72C6r3kxr2M9jY3r
Maybe we can seize klondike project in future with avalon 55nm chips.
Regards

8 more batches refunded today. NOTHING for us I'd be interested to know what the backup plan is IF the damn chips get shipped in the meantime while we just sit here twiddling our tomatoes waiting for dear Mr. Yifu to do us the big favor of sending our very much missed BTC's back.

Well my address is on there but the amount is wrong. I paid more as I was a late comer and had to jump on an auction of chips. if I get a refund it will be for the full amount right?

It's not like bizwoo will get refunded more BTC than anyone else, I imagine you'll get the same percentage as all other buyers. So nearly another 20 orders refunded before ours? Is there any pattern with the refunds? Is more public pressure needed?

I should be returned the amount paid in the auction as the auction was not fulfilled, not a percentage of the return from the group buy.

As was posted earlier, Bizwoo isn't going to be getting a larger refund. I know it sucks, but I think you may have to eat the loss. At this point, I just hope we get a refund. Same with my other group buy. Milklylep knows what I'm talking 'bout.

But he got my 6.4 btc and then will get the refund. So...why should get get to keep the difference? He didn't pay out the 6.4 to the group buy, he paid the original price and then ended up with extras because someone never paid up or had to bomb out for some reason. Then he made a profit by selling it to me at the 6.4 btc...what he did with the profit, I don't know, but that has nothing to do with the group buy really. He should take the amount he gets back then pull the profit he made from the auction out of his stash. I don't really see how this doesn't make sense here. I get he is getting a refund from the Group Buy but he got money from everyone to put into the group buy and those people will get back what they put in. He got money for the group buy + profit from my auction. He should return both if the order is canceled.

Hi, you bought the chips in an auction but these chips were part of the group buy and therefore under the same conditions and terms. This was written in the auction. What would happen here is that it would be as if your bought the chips for the price of the group buy i.e. 0.082 per chip. Over the 0.082 you will receive what is written in the list. This is due to covering the escrow fees, etc. If the auction was mine then I will give you the difference between what you paid in the auction and the 0.082. This, I will do once we get the refund.

@bizwoo May I suggest you ask JohnK to put the refund request through again? First one might have gone to spam. Also, could you please address my question above about the backup plan? EDIT: No reply ... so may I suggest the backup plan. And as the chips are now shipping again, as in: If this GB chips ship, I suggest you start making plans to not take delivery and have them sent back to Yifu so we can get our refund as requested some time ago.

This sounds just fine by me, pretty sure it was your auction so we will figure it out if and when it all comes through. Thanks for the response.

That is quite the respectable move to make. JTWrenn, I think your argument is valid to a degree and I'm glad to see bizwoo is already looking to take care of you. I guess I'm just under the impression, that during an auction, the buyer realizes they may possibly be paying a premium.

If the chips do arrive to bizwoo, then there is no reason for refund... Except that now we have voted for a refund as that's what people want...and some of the builders of the boards have pulled out. As much as I'd love a pile of chips that I literally can't do anything with, we should continue to push for a refund.
