Jan 9th got 2x 1060 6GB EVGA SC editions -> Hynix memory While not spectacular in Eth (19.2-19.5MH/sec) they do well in Zec (315-330 Sol/sec) for the settings I use.

I ordered 6 Zotac 1060 3GB from 2 different sources last week. Got my Rig running now and it turned out that all off them have Samsung Memory After reading this thread before ordering i wasn't sure if it's a good idea, but i think i got very lucky this time Which vendor did you purchase from, might we ask? I ordered at Saturn and Alternate, both german vendors.

Mine were all from the same shop, but I bought them in two separate batches about a month apart. The first batch sold out, so they must have gotten a 2nd batch from the manufacturer or supplier at some point, but both apparently had Hynix memory. I got them really cheap so the ones I got in early december have almost paid for themselves already, so I cannot complain. Equihash has been a goldmine recently, and the cards are putting out 300+ sols/s easily. Samsung or micron would have made them acceptable at ethash as well, but that hasn't really made an impact on my earnings in this particular period I think.

Same here. the two Hynix were from the same shop (got mine for 229 plus tax cad$). I just prefer having the flexibility of switching to whichever algo is most profitable at the time. Especially since eth is looking to boom in the next few days. at least the signs point to it.

Yeah, of course it would be preferable to also be able to mine ethash on the cards, just saying I got lucky the way things turned out with equihash being such a profitable algo for this period. What kind of hashrate do you get on the Samsung ones? 24-25 MH/s? I can only get mine to arbout 18.5 +/- before they become unstable. Got mine for about USD 220, just days after they were selling for around 350 due to the shortage.

I'm running them at 70% pl, +675-700 mem, +100 core. temp are 55-60C, total power draw is 896watts on 9 cards Samsungs are giving 23.5-24 mhs (i know i can run these at 750-800 mem) but have decided not to push them. Hynix are doing 19 mhs at 70% pl, 500 mem, 50 core. on equihash i cant tell difference between the cards yet but im sure 315 sols isnt going to be an issue.
