Not setting limits can get you in big trouble especially if you are already addicted or it can make you addicted because you just keep going and don't stop since you have put down no limits. You could go crazy and spend all your money in a single evening.

I agree with you, not setting limits will make us do not know when we should stop in gambling, we will play gambling until the amount in our account is zero, this will put our mood into a state of uncontrolled and frantic. Yes i limit myself when gambling and i use bankroll management so i can track how much i earn / lose when gambling. It's very usefull especially if you are used to it as it will prevent you from going nuts when losing.

I am use limits when gambling. Putting $50 is enough big for me and getting 30% profit, can already get me away from the casino. Because i know, gambling isn't good place to make money. So, getting profit to buy a pack cigarettes would be better than spending it.

It is in human nature to keep asking for more and more, humans don’t get satisfied easily. They need everything in excess whether it is money, love, care etc. and same is the case with gambling. When the gamblers are making some profit in this game, they don’t think about losing money rather they get determined about earning bigger amounts and in this way lose what they have. Yeah lets say 100-200$ every month, that's better for me so i do not spend my all money gambling. thanx god i can controll myselff nowadays. lasy few years i was not and i lost more than 10k$ in a month or so.

That is a very nice limitation if you would ask me. While I myself limit it to just $100 or less every month. Although, I think I have overcome the addiction a little bit as I do not gamble everyday now.

Yes absolutely, everyone here is making comments saying, limit yourself and it will keep you away from loss and all that thing. Who will do it ? How it can be done ? When to remember okay guy you are in a limit gambling don’t do this anymore ?

I always limit myself whenever i want to gamble because it's an important safety mechanism, so far i always play according to the limit which i deposit. Only one time i forget about it when i was so annoyed after losing so many games without winning even once, so i deposited more until i won.

It is really a safety mechanism or I will rather call it a control mechanism as well to make sure you don't go past what you can afford to lose. The only way that you have a good chance to be successful in gambling is when you become an investor, either you start your own casino or investing in existing casinos, both have different requirements but they are both profitable. I limit myself in gambling. I don't want to loss a lot of money. I prefer to set a limitation so that I can track my money whereabouts. Putting it all in gambling is too risky.

I am really shocked of all those who wanted to be experts in gambling. And like now, you are talking about the experts, how they do. Limiting yourself in best option in all walks of your life but don’t do this in gambling.

What? More than $10k is a pretty huge amount even back then since you mentioned it was few years ago. That would have been some pretty huge money now. However, there is no point regretting anyway, it is just to learn from mistakes like you have done and do it better next time. However, truth be told, sometimes, even leaving such investments in one's wallet is OK enough to give one something huge in the long run.
