For myself, I long ago determined the limit of money I can spend in gambling. I recommend everyone to do so, so you can protect yourself from losing large amounts of money.

Well it's important especially if you only have enough money for a certain time. Only rich people i think don't mind and don't put up limits. For regular people like us its unadvisable to gamble constantly in the first place but if you really can't help it, setting up limits and keeping those limits are very importsnt

Setting a limit on gambling is advisable even if you had a lot of money, just because you had a lot of money doesn't mean you can't be bankrupt when you cant control the greediness.

Im not a regular gambler, so maybe the dangers dont affect me like others, but if I gamble, I always set myself a maximum loss limit. Eg I go to the casino and take $1000 with me, if I lost that, the evening is over. If I come out with more, good, then my next visit has a bigger budget. Gambling earnings, stay in gamble for me.

If you could spend $1000 to gamble that means you are one of those big fish that dont afraid to lose. If I were you , then Im just going to put my $1000 into the site's bankroll. I don't think varying your limits will help in gambling,. it will rather promote indiscipline and  you will keep shifting the goal post whenever you loose in order to recover and that isn't helpful. There needs to be some consistency and  so you should be consistent with your limits and be disciplined enough to follow them whether you loose to that limit or you win to the limit.

Yes, I think making limits in gambling is an important thing to do before start gambling. You should set a limits, and when you achieve it you should stop immediately else you will in a worst situation and lose a huge amount. Personally, I don't consider gambling like a source for profit, but i always set limits, even if i play with low amounts, and i just play for fun.

Knowing your limit is a responsible gambling, you will be able to enjoy even if you lose most of the time, that is why we need to limit so we can still continue gambling since gambling is really fun when we are in control. I don’t think so it is that hard to set up limits for yourself when you are gambling or involved in something else which is related to money. Setting up limits means you need to set your mind before starting game that you are going to quit when you will earn 10% profit on your investment.

When you have reached your targeted profit, quit the game no matter how promising situations are for you to make bigger profit.

We do have different perspective in this thing but consistency varies and depending on the gambler itself and if his serious to limit himself he can do it. And if ever there's a lot of times that he's not really working on it that will make him decide for himself.

I think it's very easy to limit ourselves to gambling and spend our money on other things. For a person like me, I never spend more than 50% of my salary. I always spend 50% because I always save and invest my money to improve my family's economy. I was determined to buy a house for my family and make my family life prosperous and happy. Before that came true, I would not have scattered my money, or maybe if I had succeeded and rich, I would still not have scattered my money. To me, even though my salary looks small, 50% is enough.

We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?

Of course I do set up limits for my self because if not then for sure I have already lost all of my money. It is very easy to say that you limit yourself but it is hard to act. I remember before the time I gamble, I lost a high amount of money and I tend to win it back unfortunately, it is opposite that is why I stay away from it.

It is not as easy as it said. Once you come into an addiction of gambling, you will forget about that limit while you are in bad losing streak and you will make another deposits in order to recover your previous lost. In this case, you have just passed your limit and you may get worst loss once you passed the limit.

Easy to say but when you are already on middle of the situation then you will really forget those limits for sure and would decide to play even more further without thinking anymore on the limits that you have set earlier which is common thing among gamblers this is why we do fail and chances on getting broke is high because we do have weak self control and discipline.

Thats why set it right from the start no in the middle of the situation or in the middle of the game. If you think that you cant control yourself with the limit then dont think about gambling anymore. Im sure that you will spend alot of money just keep your money and dont gamble because you could lose everything if you insist on gambling

You are gambling through land based casino's so you have to get out of my door? Gambling is natural addictive activity and it's the reason why we are all becoming addicted in terms of having fun and as well as the aim of making more money.

Yes, of course I have set myself a limit. It is $ 100 per month. This is the maximum amount I can afford to lose.Sometimes even manages to win a good amount.
