well you should set a limit if you can follow through , I know no matter how I try I always go above my limits because well, gambling is addictive . so I just gave up on gambling entirely since I was making more losses than gain . As far as I'm concerned setting a limit doesn't really make a difference to someone who is very much addicted to gambling.

For me I always set myself a limit whenever I gambling especially if you are playing in a casino, they always make you wanna play by giving you free drinks, food, live bands and etc. It is really tempting to stay and play but that's what they do because they want your money and they want to earn money. That's why I always set myself a limit and I always think that I could have bought something else or food than betting it and waste my money that's why I'm not fun of gambling. I only gamble occasionally when we go to other cities to just check it out and if I have no luck I stop and leave thats it. In gambling you need patience and self control that's why if you don't have that you can't stop gambling or you'll go bankrupt. There are ways to stop from gambling addiction, the most common one is that to call the casino ( if you are gambling in casino ) that to ban you from entering the casino or if you are addicted on gambling online, you can give your wallet to your wife or mom or someone who you can trust so that you can't deposit money online. There are ways to prevent it, its better to stop now than later when you can't stop anymore. Hope it helps

You touch an interesting point, setting a limit in your money is wise but it is not enough, we need to set also a limit in the amount of time we are going to be in the casino, a limit on the number of drinks, one of the reason casinos offer drinks is so people get intoxicated and bet based on their feelings.

Yes, I do. So that, I can limit my self from being greedy and angry when I lose. I have that habit that when I lose money I always want to get it back. So, I lose even more money after that.

By doing that all the time you will end up living in the street because most likely you will lost control of yourself which is very risky as you can also lose more money more than you can imagine of losing.

Setting up on winnings and loses are both important to ensure you will be able to stop at the right time and enjoy your profit or minimize your loses.

that's better actually rather than have to wait something worse happened to you. just make sure you really quit gambling as based on people experiences it wasn't easy at all to give up, stay away and quit gambling forever. it's the biggest challenge of your new chapter of life, a tough decision too. gambling are too good to be true when it comes to about making profit.

That is mostly likely to happen,we set goals and yet we didn't follows it even we swear to ourselves we will follow that rules of ours but as we played we forget it. The thing is trading is different from gambling, usually you can easily lose control in gambling because it's fun and we are being challenge, however in trading you can always apply your strategy and it will ensure profit if you are good enough as there is no house edge. Even with that comparison, you still have to put a limit on what you do as it is advisable to have limitation.

Of course I’m set up limits when it comes to gambling, it helps me to control and maintain what I’m going to afford to lose. Yes, sometimes gambling is not only for fun but also has potential that we can lose a large amount of money when we can’t set up some limits and control in gambling. Even some of gamblers have set up their own limits but they didn’t follow it when they are already on the game because of excitement and greediness hoping that they can recover and turn back what they lose.  Setting up some limits helps us to control and manage our money not only in gambling but also in other different things we do.

Well imo, The moment the most money is lost is when people try to recover their losses. It's our natural instinct or has become one thanks to our society. People lose $100, they end up betting $300 to get their $100 back, But they end up losing that too mostly in panic situations. This is how casinos make their profit, Making use of our natural behavior and promoting strategies like martingale. Our natural instinct when we see danger is to run away, But in gambling we see the opposite. Instead of leaving the session we bet more and end up losing that too. I don't know if that behavior has been planted in us or we are just like that.

This is why i dont really set up some limitations on playing gambling on way before i do play because these things would really be broken later on and i would really prefer to stop on the situation on which i do aware that theres something wrong already on my actions and on this way it much better to have this kind of habit than on setting up before plans on stopping.
