Do you set up limits for yourself?

Yep, limiting in gambling keeps us mindful of our goal in gambling, that's to gain winning and not about how much we achieve that win but about pluses we get. However, i'm sure only a few gamblers can do that. In fact, i'm often lost in gambling. when won, i was always interested to continue game that ended up just wasting time.

The issues is that many people like to lose control when they are having fun, and when people do that then they are not watching any of the important details, like how much they have lost, or the amount of time they have been gambling and then the next day they are surprised they lost a lot of money.

When we set limit , we will have restriction when we play. We will use a little money when we have limit, that is why it is better to have limit and restriction. It depends on yourself, if you dont want to lose all your money when you play then it is better to set up some limit because it is for the better good

I agree but as I have said people do not like to limit themselves when they are having fun, for example when my friends and I go to a nightclub most of the time they say they are not going to drink too much and stuff like that but I know them and as soon as they begin to get some fun, they forget about it and at the end of the night are drunk.

Gambling is a complete investor based game according to me because the person who concern about his hard earned money will never waste his money in the gambling or doubling.

I noticed many whales from the Europe use to invest huge funds in betting and poker sites to make the money for entertainment. Some may lucky and win but mostly people loose it.

If you do value your money you wont really risk it on playing gambling beause you do know how hard for you to earn it but there are people who do really play gambling no matter what because they are hoping for doubling their money as fast as possible. This thing  does really depend on persons self control.

Of course. I think it is very important that we put limitations in ourselves. If we don't limit ourselves, we might do something that could offend others or worst is that we might harm ourselves. Just like when we spend money, we need to limit ourselves because if we don't, we'll spend so much by buying things that are not necessary or things that we don't really need.

Yes i've setup limits for myself for the good intesion also and to control my greedyness is the main intesion that i'm setting limits. I don't why still my greedyness makes me to play gambling and i don't know how to stop it. I think it's in when am lossing

yeah i also same with you. i always setup limits for myself everyday when i gambleng. if i dont setup limits for myself i think i was lossing everyday and dont have profit from winning the gambling

Good for you, other people can't do it because of too much addiction on gambling. I'm also limiting myself on betting to avoid losing my bitcoin in a very fast way. Also, this limitations that we are putting on ourselves is one of the reasons why we won't be addicted to gambling. You could even save more if you have limits on when you are going to stop on gambling after you made some profits.

Not other people but ALMOST all gambler can't limit himself on gambling. When you lose, you deposit more your money to win back your loss but when you win, you want win more and become greedy. My solution is build your own bankroll management, only bet 1%-5% per bet from your all balance.

they could do it , always trying actually but always failed to make it happen. discipline and a good bankroll management skills required . experience might could helpful also, it's very rare to see people who gamble get a nice profit through gambling due successfully limit themselves to gamble too much and become greedy, it's the nature.

On what part you are having difficulties in setting a limit? It's not a hard thing for me because you'll just set an amount where you will stop for losing and also for winning. That will be considered addiction out of control. If you are rich, you should not or must not settle into those kinds of entertainment which is only short-term imho.

I earn a alot of bitcoins every month but I didn't use it or spend it all in one shot. I always set limits so that my money didn't end up nothing. I always play gambling but not in a whole day. I set goals in order to become intelligent in playing. When I reach that goal I will stop and take a rest.

Three points related to your bragging comment are stuck in my mind
1.How can you earn a lot of bitcoins by gambling?
2. What has intelligence to do with such game?
3. How are you able to achieve your goal every time (it appears you win every time)?
In my case, none of the above has happened ever. Am I a dumbo?

Unless he is talking about poker then I do not see how can you become a winner long term in games where luck is the only factor, no one can be that lucky for such a long period of time since the house edge is there to make sure that in the long run you are going to lose.

I do. I just spend a million satoshis and that is the limit to what will I lose before I stop.
I dont care if I dont get it back. I will just sleep and think that next day will be a lucky day.
Forcing it will just make you lose more instead of redemption. 
But most of the time I dont hit that number. I became a lucky bastard. 

It is okay at least you still set limits to yourself, you know when to stop and play again, but also be careful and don't do it often, there is still a possibility to become addicted in the future.

Yes, i limit my self in gambling. because gambling is very risky way to earn money and most of the casinos now use a high house edge to win.
but if you play better enough in poker you cannot set a limit for yourself because poker is a mind game for me. if you know how to play it you will win more money

that's tight having a big bankroll is really risky since that controlling your emotions will play the big part, if you have a big bankroll you always thinking
that you can regain your loses right away by placing a big bet after losing the previous one, so better setting just a little amount of your money just

Thats how I control myself as well. Sometimes I will only use a very small amount so that I dont really need to think about losing money even if I lose everything. Im sure that this is the most useful hing so that people who are addicted to gamble dont lose alot of money whenever they want to play

I just limit my amount to be gamble by bringing only the exact amount decided to bring so that in case of losing i will just be limited only to that certain amount. If you bring unlimited amount or maybe a huge sum of cash for sure you will be tempted to gamble it all until you lose everything in your pocket.

I just limit my amount to be gamble by bringing only the exact amount decided to bring so that in case of losing i will just be limited only to that certain amount. If you bring unlimited amount or maybe a huge sum of cash for sure you will be tempted to gamble it all until you lose everything in your pocket.

Setting your limitation for gambling will dicipline you not to be addicted gambler but a person with moderation and declaring gambling as an entertainment or just for fun. Once you loss you will just go home and sleep because you just limit your self for just a certain amount.

That's true, we are prone to lose control if we bring a lot of money even if it's not intended for gambling because the emotion is high, it's like a roller coaster ride where you will experience the ups and downs of gambling but the worse thing is when you are emotionally affected when you are down and you might forget what you are doing. When our brain does not function well in gambling mostly the  result is something we can regret.

Limits are mostly set for people who have gambling problems and people who lack self control when it comes to gambling, They normally lose control and spend almost everything on them if they want to win, The best way to control oneself when gambling, is to take a limited amount of money to the casino so that should you eventually lose it all, you have no option but to go home and stop gambling for the night.
