What will happen after SEGWIT?
Some believe that hard fork could happen and result of which bitcoin price could crash.So they get panic and sell their bitcoins.But no one knew exactly what would happen whether a hard fork would happen or bitcoin price would skyrocket.Lets just wait and see. That’s cute though, the concept of baby bitcoins and by the way, that’s true. All those who remained loyal to bitcoins when they were experiencing downfall are going to have grand profit in the shape of baby bitcoins. I would like to suggest all not to give up on bitcoins under any harsh circumstances. For those who have invested in bitcoin for a long time there is no problem. They will just wait a few years until the price reaches a very high level. And those who bought a coin recently may be in the long run in a drawdown |

July 21 is the starting date that those miners who agreed on segwit will activate right? If segwit starts then bitcoin will pump and hopefully most altcoins won't get affected much. If segwit fails to activate then split is possible? Just like what happened early this year during the BU crisis altcoins went sky rocketing.
Quite a number of things are missing out in above assumptions. One is that what got started on July 21st was segwit2x, which is a precursor for a hard fork 3 months later. Another is that the segwit that entails only a soft fork, which is what the UASF guys stand for is the event that is billed for August 1st. A split is in the air, because their is no consensus among the various interests. |

What will happen after SEGWIT?
Just simple,BCC supporters will get disappointed and once again all BTC holders will regain happiness as bitcoin would continue to exist.Even they would get double happiness as BTC priice would be skyrocketing making them rich.Technically,transaction fee would get much reduced and they would be confirmed very quickly.It was the change which most of bitcoin supporters awaited eagerly for months for segwit to be activated and finally the day has come and the dream is going to be true. |

My advice is to sell your BTC for altcoin or USD.
When BTC drops to $1400 tomorrow it's time to buy!

When issues like this happen and suggestions are made, the best is to support it with facts as to why the position you are taking and with that, we reason along your line. Whether it comes to pass or not will be another separate discussion but just dumping this on us will mean saying we all dont know how to think and make conclusions. |

it must happen to be a flash crash, but after crash, the price will reach on $5000
i think same volume after crash btc a little go down and than fly . ~5k$ so we will be hold on our hands all btc or bcc which one is the best . |

Are you sure about bitcoin dropping? Or you already consider it without any proofs? Is segwit2x will surely implemented tomorrow guys? Are their vote for segwit done? I have many questions in my mind that worries me a lot if bitcoin drops! But then I am really positive on it that still bitcoin will not decrease rather it will increase. I am hoping for that, I am really hoping that there will be a sharp price increase. I trust it.

Dropping price of bitcoin is possible but I think it's a little bit declining, also in my opinion I believe that there's nothing change in bitcoin industry after segwit that's why I was continuously hold and trust in bitcoin. |

Dropping price of bitcoin is possible but I think it's a little bit declining, also in my opinion I believe that there's nothing change in bitcoin industry after segwit that's why I was continuously hold and trust in bitcoin. Dropping how could it drop? when many big companies stated that they will support the real btc and although there's a BCC that is threatening the btc status but still you can see the huge support of the real one, Just think that this situation will be the same as the ETH and the etc, and so bcc will just be an altcoin but never can defeat the real one who's still standing strong. |

I believe the whole infrastructure needs to be built around segwit and customers/users need to get use to it and the market will decide if it will work (I have a strong belief in it).
But I dont think it will be like turning a switch and suddenly the price jump high. I think it's a long term benefit and we will see loads of new application out there.

I am not sure,... but I am expecting a happy ending.
BTC is our backbone, it will destroy almost everything if something is going wrong with BTC upgrade.
No chance for big mistake, it should be a happy ending.

Yes, I also aim for a happy ending for BTC on August 1. More interesting and a bit harder to predict will be a possible hardfork in November. But BTC is strong and stable. It is accepted on many places all over the world, so I see a very good future for Bitcoin.

If the segwit will completed successfully the price will surely increase. I'm a trader sir, it is proven already. When Digibyte is segwited there are many traders are saying that it will pump to the moon but I will not follow them because I don't trust them. But I didn't know the other happenings after segwit completed, I know that there is a good news for us. |

I think nothing will happen after SEGWIT aside from having an automatic free coin which is BCC. Other than that I dont think there is much happening and hopefully everything else will be back to what it was before the hype.

This is what i saw on current situation. Theres nothing to panic or join with the hype since this is just a simple split-up of bitcoin. I cant see a reason for price to dump or even pump but still possibilities would really be there anytime. Tomorrow is the day on which all people are waiting for and we would able to see it for ourselves regarding on our speculations. |

Currently the market is in a state of panic, many rumors are that the price of bitcoin will fall and the market will have the appearance of bcc, and many people are saying bcc is a trap and a stupid thought of miners, summary is that there are many opinions on this issue. Personally, I still believe in a successful segwit, fork will not appear

Segwit is being implemented through Segwit2x and locked in period is going on at present. Bitcoin would split into two blockchains tomorrow, one who is supporting Segwit 2x and the other who are supporting BCC fork. BCC fork is scheduled tomorrow which is the one chain. Segwit2x is the other chain with 93%+ support. The 2mb hardfork will take place most probably in November. At that time if there is 100% miner support there wouldn't be any split otherwise the ones who are not supporting hardfork will form another coin and thus split will take place.
