There have been number of complaints from forum members that they have been unfairly blacklisted. I have checked on the length and quality of the posts of some of these people. My strong preference is not to single anyone out in particular, as there is nothing to be gained by attacking people. Some of these posters clearly have postings that are less than 75 characters and subjectively speaking some of the posters appear to post nothing other than spam, "yes, me too, rah rah rah, etc".
The Deep Onion developers are seeking for the community to contribute actively as miners, graphic artists, forum moderators, evangelists, etc not just contribute spam to the forum as some people do. I can speak for myself I have been staking DeepOnion almost since the second airdrop contributing my computing power to this network 24 7. We each need to contribute our grain of sand, however insignificant it may be, to build the Deep Onion network into a future top 10 crypto currency and platform.
Lets make sure we elevate the quality of our postings so we don't have these same conversations again and again and have to read through a 2,000 page ANN populated by spam.
Hi CoinCollector006, I totally agree with your very valuable insight here. We need people not just only participate and just spam saying one liner words. I mean, let's elevate the level of our contribution to our community to promote it. Let's make them see that people that follow DeepOnion are sophisticated, thinking and passionate people who love DeepOnion and Cryptocurrencies in general too!
I myself, I am doing my best to elevate my contributions here in DeepOnion thread, to the deeponion.org website (though I still need to work that out hehe), to other threads across bitcointalk and also to your friends and family as well. All of my friends from the crypto community I created online all knew about DeepOnion and they all are finding ways to have some of the action by either joining the deeponion.org website or being a Jr. Member so they can join the airdrop (I hope the date limit of the newly created bitcointalk.org account be lifted so they can join too) 4 of my friends and siblings became Jr. Members already because they really wanted to join the airdrops too!
So I am not stopping spreading the word in this community but also to the community outside.
I am a teacher, and I am finding ways on how to teach them about cryptocurrency in general as well. Though, it's quite hard for me because I am an Art teacher and not hired as a "Cryptocurrency teacher" so there might be some ethical problem there.
If you have any ideas guys on how to do it with my students please share as well. I'll also ask in other threads as well to ask for some advice.
All, I'm saying in this post is, let's do our best to elevate our level of participation in DeepOnion community.
Because if you really love DeepOnion, it's not hard to do.
Right now, I'm working on some graphics for DeepOnion as well
