If PoS is successfully implemented and ethereum can scale it could become huge. Right now its very useful due to smart contracts but its success is hurting it due to scaling issues.

I think Ethereum is one of the best long term investments but there are huge risks in the short term and there are many valid criticisms of the coin.

Not really sure, it is still a good investment for now, the price is also good and then the popularity is also good , but don't know how long it can last, for me it is a good investment and because it is a strong alt coin and there are so many company want to start implementing eth

obviously eth is the best for investment but if you went to quick profit then I say that eth is not for best investment.becouse eth can't giving you 10x or more profit for very short time.

I think nowadays It is really good opportunity to buy some Ethereum since ETh's price very low. If you every want to enter for ETH then you can enter now. But you may need to wait for sometime in order to make some good profit. Maybe for 1 week, maybe 1 month, maybe year. That's the most difficult part ;"no one knows how long".

Not to say  the best ,but a rather good choice to invest.More and more excellent ico projects use ETH, the value of ETH is widely spreading .
Maybe ,ETH will surpass BTC one day .

I also would like to see the price of Ethereum go up though the price of that coin went up too much in a short amount of time. I think that the coin will get a few big dumps then the coin will go back up since the people will notice their coins are worth more than what they've purchased it for a few years ago.

I would just wait it out because the price looks like it's going to go up.

It has dumped today as all the crypto-currencies so of course I would recommend it to you. You can at least except at 10-20% in a year, and I say this to be sure that I am right, because I myself plan at least 50%. Casper will make the price rise a lot, trust me !

Ethereum has come a long way and it's basically become the second biggest Cryptocurrency after Bitcoin (I stand to be corrected).
The value is on a good level and quite appreciating. Investing and buying some ETH right now is quite okay, as a result of the lower price now which will soon rise in future.

I think eth is incredibly risky, but not because of the tech, but because such a gigantic portion of all the available eth are getting into ICO's with zero value/zero product/zero customer's.

Rough estimate, this could probably be figured out, i'd guess 5million or more eth's are in ICO hands now, and there are only 93 million total right.

This is an insanse percentage held in a TINY number of hands, this doesn't even include the genesis block folks which also hold gigantic amounts.

This is a ticking bomb.   If you bought eth high, over 200, any sane assesment has to include a very real possibility this thing goes to 50 bucks or less, and this is alot more real than a typical investment declining, this thing is incredibly dangerous.

Don't hold 1 dollar more than you can't loose tomorrow in eth, not right now.

It certainly was good for investment several months ago! Yes I agree that long-term ETH is probably still a great investment, but any coin that goes up 10x in price over a matter of a month is due for correction.

i do not trust Ether and Ripple! i do not trust a cryptocurrency with infinite inflation, then a lot of new money will create a lot of inflation, and an infinite quantity of new money will created infinite inflation. for example, i already traded all my BTC and ETH for the crypto called Dash Digital Cash. yes, the Dash Digital Cash does not need a SegWit, a true cryptocurrency does not need a SegWit

The price of etherium is consistenly rising up the chart. Investors are trusting etherium, so no problem. The time is just perfect for you to investment in etherium.

Well no one can't tell. Etheruem is not just the only currrency that has a platforn to be used for multiple tokens there are other platofrm that capable of what they have and some ICO prjects tend to do dual contract so they can be able to sell more.

Ether seems to be better investment than other coins available in market. You can think of long term investment in ether as it is/will grow like bitcoin in few years. Ether is the only altcoins which started to move with giant leaps in the market. Current situation is all the way down but I'm looking at it as an opportunity to invest more money into it. The distribution of ether is going to be very fine in the future and that will rise the price of ether in a good way.
