whichever coin would have a 50x return is probably not launched yet or at least not in the top ten (unlikely in the top hundred coins). This of course depends on whether the market will mature or how much adoption we'll be seeing from the general public. In my opinion we need more than 2-3 years to get the ball rolling, but during that time there are some interesting options. The reason I said a 50x return is unlikely with current launched coins, is because most of them have already capitalized on their "interest" and current demand and are unlikely to add an additional 5000% upside. ICO's from the other hand are more likely to get to that level, but it's a hit or miss game really - we've seen so many great idea going around and raising so much capital, but they're still lagging behind in terms of performance. You best chance to get to that return is create an ICO or project yourself and see how that works out (your chances are definitely better than investing in someone's else project, expecting a 50x return).

dont need 50x. 20x is enough making 50k to 1m. market is growing so why you talking like its hard to do 50x.  Also we have seen enormous multiples recently.

All the lending coins seems to go to the moon, they will all be a good pick, but i would not hole them for years.

Take a look at westerncoin, its cost 1.25 but will go to 10 or mush more  in the next few months, if the lending platform works, and it's already working.

Will be looking for ETH , VTC and XRP coins to have some good returns in coming years. Though it may not exactly be the best in terms of returns that high but considering the future  of the coin it has very good chances of moving at high prices fro the current levels and making some good gains during this time.

So i've seen a similar thread about some guy asking whether he could be a millionaire in 2 years if he put 30k in Monero(if he did he would make around 3m$ and it's not 2years yet).

So i am likely not going to put 50k$ in a coin, but it will be intresting to read this in 1-2 years.

It's "only" x20, which is realistic imho. My pick would be LBRY, although the chances of that happening are slim!

First of all, it will depend on whether this current altcoin boom that we are seeing on a constant basis will continue into the next few years. If the bust occurs and everyone has no interest in altcoins anymore, no matter what altcoins you invest in you're likely not going to get 20x returns in crypto winter.

If it does continue, i think that Neblio is interesting.

Also byteball is pretty cheap as well at the moment.

I agree, but you forgot another point. Think about investors.
Example: I bought NEO in march for 10 BTC at a rate of about 0.0001 BTC. Sold them later for about 0.01 BTC which is about 100x.
Now give me at least one good reason to buy back at 0.005 BTC. Especially when there are many coins that can give me 20x to 100x again.

Agree with you,only way to get x20 or more is to get on the coin before its hyped wich means doing a lot of research for the right one

Good post, agree... If you want 50x the alt coins in the billions aren't as likely going to do it for you as getting in at the ground floor somewhere else...

Try out TaaS, XEM, WAVES, STRATIS, and stay with the great ones too like ETH, BTC.
It will have its ups and downs but in the end you will have a ton of money.

Ethereum gets sold by ICO managers after their ICOs finish to fund their projects and to make some profit. That raises the ETH supply by a lot, which drives down the price. Ethereum is best to be used as a token for investing rather than holding.
