Disclaimer: I am a NOOB. Please be nice.

I have, to no avail, tried to mine BCO. I have used cgminer 3.7.2 and multiminer which was using bfgminer. Both were pointed to the pool: https://pool.bridgecoin.org/. I have a setup with an AMD RX 580. I also understand that scrypt mining is now under the ASIC mining domain. I still want to try to mine some BCO with my GPU setup if possible.  Any thoughts on how I can make this work. Would be highly obliged. Any help on the matter might solve the problem.
Any non-specific starter guides to mining would also be appreciated.

Hey mate, welcome aboard.

Honestly, the hashrate is insane at the moment. Like above all expectations I think. Even with a high powered ASIC you might not get much. (you can hire some here if you want to try: https://www.miningrigrentals.com/register?ref=37823)

I would mine something else with your rig (like an equihash or dagger coin (non-asic)), then sell it to buy BCO while its still reasonable. Its selling on the DEX https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org/?r=388691

PM me if you want any help setting up with a different coin. Good luck!

This is an answer I gave a while back on mining BCO, it's still pretty relevant as has rate has increased significantly since then.

Hi I know that Twitter @CryptoAsian asked devs for interview and I think it will happen but as this is non ICO project devs don't have any obligation to reveal their real identities.
They didn't took the money from anyone they introduced $BCO as a way of project funding, they came out with working beta product and in Q4 they will come out with 50% profit sharing program for BCO holders.
IMHO it's better than most ICOs who rely only on idea or business concept but they took milions from investors.

I know they are not under any obligation for an interview. But before I commit anymore BTC to this project I'd like to hear their vision for BCO. If they want, they can easily hide their identity.

First page is a good start,  pool link is there underneath wallet link.
As for solo  prob wouldn't try,  hash is too high. For context, its a third of litecoin hashrate currently. You will need multiple asics to find a block.

EDIT: Maths was out here. It was closer to 2% of LTC hash

Thanks, I've got 5 g/h to point towards it with more to be added. I'm going to give the pool a try now.  Wink

That is an envious amount of hashpower...

Their Slack is a good place for latest news etc and the team is really responsive.

Best of luck

I'm not understanding the decentralized gateway feature.

Can you provide an indepth explanation of how this is better than OL (in terms of securing my UIA BTC) and OBITS (as an investment, how are the 50% profit share tracked and transparent? I'm seeing no details on this)

Hi, I've been getting shares on the pool quite regularly, but not received any for a while now, and there's a message on the pool saying "We are investigating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP." Will these share be credited when the issue is resolved? Thanks for your help and I will be joining slack shortly.

I love this project and love their exchange, but worried about the marketing. There is already a strong competitor out of Singapore, COSS. While their exchange is not ready for prime time yet like Cryptobridge is. They are doing weekly payouts in multiple coins which will get them lots of attention while Cryptobridge pays out slower and Coss will have months of payouts before the first Cryptobridge payout. Coss is also adding new hot coins ignored by the big exchanges. I don't want Cryptobridge to lose the first mover advantage to a Johnny come lately. But so far the developers haven't disappointed, so I hope they will consider the importance of getting payouts started for the marketing effects. This remains one of my favorite projects.

..but the reason COSS was able to pump out such an extraordinary exchange so quickly was because of their ICO. Cryptobridge was built by an anonymous and international group developers with no ICO or premine. The project is incredibly sincere. COSS may be leading the forefront at the moment but it wont take long for BCO to catch up and even surpass them in my opinion.
