There has not been a significant code change, just a bit of tidying up and a makeover so this should work with the block data you have already downloaded.
That being said, before downloading, BACK UP YOUR WALLET AND BLOCK DATA FILES!!!
We have tested the wallet and have confidence that it works but you should always take precautionary measures to insure that your data is safe.

At this moment we have next facts:
1. Coin founder founded! He is Charlie Kartchner from Denver and he is lying on every corner that he is not founder of the coin, but he actually is.
2. Coin founder hurts whole community by not paying bounties.
3. Coin founder scammed several hunters and not payed bounty.
4. Coin founder can't constructively comment above mentioned simple statements.
5. Coin founder instead of solving question with the hunter (cheap 200k coins for 2 translations) he is acting like a child by turning my nickname "uracrew" into "uraclown" (super high IQ humor), don't answer on my messages and don't want to find any resolution.

All this mean that coin founder is cheap $25 scammer. Task was completed - bounty was not payed. Hard to believe, that someone will cheat for such little amount of money, but it's true.

I completed bounty task. I have not received my bounty. What may I do - sit still? I don't take part in bounties. I do care actually. I think uracrew deserves his money and it is not good for NYC coin if Charlie - founder is acting like this (like a cheater). I'm big fan of NYC and I own amount which is a lot for me. This makes the coin untrustworthy and reduces its value.
It's all because Charlie is not acting fair. If I am uracrew I would do the same.

Having trouble with Windows wallet.

I backed up my wallet.dat file. Transfered it to another PC. Other PC shows the right view/recv address, that I used to have for this wallet, but balance is 0. Yes it is synced.
Is it possible to view transactions per public address for NYC? I only figured out how to view specific transaction details for a tx in altminer, but I don't know how to view total tx history for a particular address.

My first guess,  The wallet.dat file is not in the correct location. 

Check your %appdata%\newyorkc folder for the wallet.dat. 
Backup/rename the empty one and place your previous wallet.dat in that location.

Removed all data except wallet. Waited till resync and all ok now.

NewYorkCoin suffers because of just one person - because of it's founder. He don't care about community, he don't care about fixing wallet bugs, he don't care about paying bounties.
Here is my list of simple questions to Charlie:
1. Connection between "disappeared" founder of NYC, e-mail at NewYorkCoinMiner profile and original NYC domain name.
2. Multiaccounts at this forum. It seems like not forbidden here, but explain the sense of this, let community know why.
3. Explain why Sniper from Russian NYC community received 50k coins bounty instead of 100k. Solved, Sniper received second part of bounty later. Then the question is why the bounty was divided into 2 parts?
4. Explain why Sniper from Russian NYC community received bounty for Russian translation that he done 1 week later than me.
5. Explain why you said that you will pay bounty for both translations, but not payed at all and even didn't answer me anywhere where I written to you.
6. Explain why new bounty campaigns being started, while you are not payed for previous.
7. Explain why "online decentralized" cryptocurrency need "offline center" at Manhattan? Just child's dream about real estate in NYC? Another stupid hype like ATM with goal to create demand? 8. Wallet troubles with URGENT messages and much bigger troubles with Mac OS wallet. Terrible UX with creating conf file manually. Can be fixed within 1 day and some bucks, but seems like user experience is something absolutely not important for this coin.

I do care actually. I think uracrew deserves his money and it is not good for NYC coin if Charlie - founder is acting like this (like a cheater). I'm big fan of NYC and I own amount which is a lot for me. This makes the coin untrustworthy and reduces its value.
It's all because Charlie is not acting fair. If I am uracrew I would do the same.
I'm surprised all you guys see this and just ignore it.

This whole thing, and especially the amateurish, harsh responses from the crew member who answers for NYC team, damages the coin reputation for every potential investors who read this thread. I am myself considering selling my NYC million coins for things like this.

I completed bounty task. I have not received my bounty. What may I do - sit still? I don't take part in bounties. I took part in bounty of NYC because I was looking at this coin since 2014 and mined it from it's start. That's was the reason - because I wanted to do something good for community. You can check my posts in this thread - I was positive. Bounty reward was secondary. But when I realized, that something going wrong - I gave 24 hours for Charlie to respond. 4. Pay the bounty.

At this moment, I want to say thanks to people, who understand me and thanks to adequate community members. I'm very sorry, but Charlie making very bad things now. Question absolutely not about bounty. Question about work is done. Work should be valued. I simply was ignored. This is not good way.

If all 4 above mentioned statements will not be completed, then war begins on 02/10/2018 17:00 GMT.
What can community do? Ask Charlie to solve the question in good way.
Why am I doing this? If you still do not understand - all this about to respect the work done, not about cheap coins. I don't care about $25.

My vision:
1. If you promised something - do this, if you have 2 balls between your legs.
2. If work is done - it must be valued.

How must be solved my question in adequate environment:
1. Keep contact. If someone write to you - then answer please.
2. If Charlie is out of money (out of $25(!!!)) - he would say "sorry" and explain, that at this moment he can't pay. He would explain, that he done mistake by announcing bounty and offer to keep sites working as some volunteer help or shutdown them by my decision.
3. If Charlie had an idea to cheat me - he would be in contact with me and saying all the time "will pay tomorrow".
4. If Charlie had an idea to pay bounty, but what I've done for some reasons don't work for him - he would write me to fix this and that.
5. If Charlie don't care about anything and anyone, if he don't respect anyone's work - he would call people who done work "clowns" and say on public in offensive, that completed tasks will not be paid. Actually he is doing this.

If statements 2-4 can be understood, point 5 of this list is absolutely unacceptable for me. Respect costs much more than any money, you don't respect me because of my work done and I request you to do what you promised.

Dear community! Just see like unresponsive guy Charlie ruining your community for $25. Is $25 a real worth of all mined by now coins??? You are writing all the time here about hard work but - is $25 worth of hours, days and weeks of hard work of whole community??? I guess no, but Charlie guess yes.
