I think the binance thing is BS!!! Binance doesn't need any ads it is a very popular CEX. this is someone trying to get referrals (check ref=XXX, this is a referral ID) to gain benifits.... If Binance wants to list a coin, they annouce it at the time they list it. don't be fooled

the service. If you wish to register an account with Binance and trade coins there then just connect

Hi i  cant find a boot strap and its going to take forever to load the chain, and there is no thing for NYC at cryptochainer. please help if you can also will my coins be ok i have the coins froom 2015

This should speed things up for people trying to sync faster with their wallets.
Your should always password lock your wallet and backup the wallet.dat file
in your NYC file folder to a usb drive or other computer before proceeding!

Install NYC Core wallet as per instructions on the offical site, http://nycoin.net/instructions.pdf
Close your NYC Core wallet.
Extract Blockchain and Chainstate zip files into your NYC file folder where your NYC .conf file is
located and allow to overwrite.
Restart your NYC Core wallet and you should be sync'd to the files date Dec 17th.
Allow your wallet to finalize the updates.

I bought some nyc coins and decided to download the wallet for mac, while it was syncing the wallet I thought I'd send some of my nyc coins over to the wallet but didn't realise the wallet would take so long it had been a week and hadn't synced even half so I backed the wallet.data file up and tried replacing the blkindex files but it never speeded up the sync, so eventually I got it to sync on my windows computer. However when I tried to replace the wallet.dat file on the windows computer with the one I used on the mac to send the coins to, the nyc wallet wouldn't open it kept freezing on the nyc logo. Does anyone know if this can be fixed, or have I lost all the nycs I've sent!!!

I think your NYC coins are still there, in the first mac wallet. You have to try any efforts to sync that mac wallet, when it is synced, the the coins will then show up. I don't think you can use the window wallet to open the mac wallet file, they are different systems. Good luck.
