There has been a heated discussion for some time within the NYC Community on how to handle the large circulating supply. So I made a survey to get a feel for what the community as a whole might agree upon. Please vote. If anyone would like to see more options added to the survey let me know and I will add them. The total amount of NYC is the same as that of doge and xrp. The total amount is not a problem. The total amount of xrp is so much that the price can reach 4$ each. Why?

It's not my favorite logo. I don't think the color scheme reps NYC. But logo design is a personal preference. Glad you like it. And glad to see you still around!

Just saw the name of the project and very much wanted to look at it. Such loud name has the right to live probably. How to be told to the big ship, big swimming. It will be good if the team seriously in the future belongs and will make great progress.  |

Great idea! Bad and stupid idea. Any kinda of coin/wallet updates will result in Yobit not updating -> having two chains and bunch of problems. With plp sending to wrong chain and etc. Plp who suggesting PoS and MN just want to get quick profits. NYC is aimed for real world usage not having latest '''hot' stuff ' for fast profit. |

It's been a wild first quarter but we are happy to announce that we have met all of our goals for Q1 on the roadmap!. We have released an update for the qt-wallet and headless daemon. You can find the latest wallet update (version 1.2) at the github releases page. Please note, that with this release, the database structure has changed (from berkeley db to leveldb) which will require a re-indexing. Re-indexing takes time, especially when the chain is over four years old. (We will have a bootstrap file which should help ease that pain.) As always, backup your wallet.dat file before upgrading and be sure to read the change log for the wallet update. We still need all hands on deck as we move into Q2 and the future! Q2 is going to be an exciting time for the dev team and the community at large. A LOT of work is scheduled to happen in the next three months but I am confident that we can make it happen with the community's continued support. We are sticking to the roadmap and will continue to inform the community of any changes or pivots that need to happen along the way. We will need continued help from the community for on-boarding merchants, and if anyone has development skills, please see one of the team members in our discord to see where you may be able to fit into the team.
