Safe to use again or not? Some coin only can trade on EtherDelta, can I use EtherDelta or not? Is there any official post about that?
It is safe now. But i recommend you to make another account for etherdelta and don't keep precious things in there. At least i'm doing like that.

I was doing that even before the hack and would recommend it to anybody using the exchange. Should be safe now, I am using it last 2 days without problems. It is even working better than usually. I am hoping it is because of site improvement but it is more probable that less users are using it at the moment than before the hack.

I had tons of valueable tokens in address or even in etherdelta because i may trade it one day. I dodged a bullet there.

I know it is difficult to pick that sweet spot so you can trade hassle free and in the same time have reasonable security. In the end I opted for 2 ETH accounts. 1. Address I use to access ED and other daily trades. Contains all airdropped shit tokens and few valuable ones like PoS token as well as minor ETH amounts. I try to limit total amount at about 500$ dollars but often it is bit more. The loss would hit me bad but would not be the crippling one. 2. Cold storage ETH address where I send most of my ETH and few tokens I keep for long time like OMG

EtherDelta is a project source code that can be downloaded from GitHub and must be run on one’s computer if they wish to access this exchange protocol. This is a lot more cumbersome than using a centralized exchange, but it also allows users to determine their own trading markets. In fact, protocols such as EtherDelta could soon have more trading markets than any other altcoin exchange in the world today.

There was the hacker's address back then. I remember it was over one million dollars at one point. But i don't know the specific amount.

Does anyone know how the hacked site looked like? Was it really the same as the original one (same address/domain, with encrypted with the same protocol etc....)?

As per my experience etherdelta is good decentralized exchange for trading because most of the coins will be listed from ethereum smart contract will be listed in etherdelta only. So i every exchange will face problem in this way etherdelta is also facing.

I'm having trouble withdrawing some small amount of ether from etherdelta, I can see on ethgasstation that 20 gwei should be enough for a gas price but ED keeps bullshiting me that it is not enough.

I'm also having trouble sending some tokens from my wallet to EtherDelta. Last night I had 3 transactions failing due to bad instruction. According to https://ethgasstation.info/ last night safe was 1GWEI. I tried with 4 and 8 GWEI. Those tokens are actively traded on EtherDelta!

Are you making the same transaction over and over? It takes a couple of minutes for 4 gwei for me.

The EtherDelta ICO has been announced. It has a lot of suspicious aspects.
Only 1-2 days' notice for the ICO kickoff. Who does that?
40% of tokens sold in private sale
Vague/unclear/specious value/use-case for the tokens: #1 is that the company will re-purchase the tokens in the future. This, the most important feature listed first is that the company will re-purchase tokens using all 100% of site profits. Why would you buy an exchange if you didn't plan to take any profits for years? That is, unless you can take advantage of the userbase and sell MILLIONS in tokens and then bail or sell it off again. #2 enables "participants" (not token holders) to join TGE tokens intiated by ED Lab 51 under the platform. "Holders of EDT will have investment priority and a preferential discount on projects that are run under the ED lab 51." WFT does that mean? No mention of what kind of projects or what Lab 51 is. #3 EDT can be used as a payment for ED transaction fees. "The later phase would allow EDT holders to have special discount and offer if using ED." Again more vagaries. Are they saying they plan to switch the entire userbase over to a new smart contract that can and will optionally consumer EDT tokens instead of the .3% fees currently charged? Wow, incredible if true. They have no idea what an operational nightmare it will be to switch the entire userbase over to the new smart contract when they have no way other than Twitter to contact their users.
In addition: 1. There have been no tweets announcing newly listed tokens since the DNS attack other than the ICO announcement. 2. The chat room help reps have all disappeared. 3. If by "Use of Process" on the sale website (crowdsale.etherdelta.com) they mean "Use of Funds," 50% is to be used for marketing. First I would argue that there is little need for massive marketing for an established platform. It has grown incredibly well without any. To focus 50% of raised funds on marketing (~$63M total if it sells out) is a ridiculous use of funds). 4. Whitepaper repeatedly mentions "registered users." You can't "register on ED." Who are they trying to fool? 5. Anyone with the experience these new guys claims to have would not start an ICO with only 1 day of notice.
My guess: They bought ED for a few million and hope to capitalize on its userbase to make a quick $10-63M from an ICO by exploiting ED's name and reputation.

If you have put up a sale order, it will be reflected in your Orders Your coins don't get deducted from your account till the order gets processed (like in your case, till the buyer doesn't buy your coins by entering the same price as you have set). It doesn't work like other exchanges and the ORDER expires after some number of blocks are mined (I guess 100k).

I checked etherdelta whitepaper. It is really shitty. It doesn't give you a share of the fees. Also, there is no fee discount etherdelta token holders.
Only thing is that they will buy half of the tokens back. And tokens doesn't have any purpose. Never buy this shit.

Well said, very strange announcement indeed. I don't think there will be a lot of people buying it after DNS hack
