One thing thats keep bugging me out is not having some system that prevents you from sending all ETH from wallet to EtherDelta.
Sometimes I send more ETH than I'm suposed and then I can't do anything!! Can't buy, can't return ETH to wallet. Because I don't have enough to cover gas.
Some system that allert tah you will not have enough ETH for gas for the next operation.
Or use the ETH in EtherDelta to pay for gas!

The exchange is becoming worse every day.

Besides using the contract address to trade, it really doesn't have any feature.

Got some strange issue, the "buy" button does not appear at the bottom and I can't go down the page...
Same on safari and chrome.

Is there a way to check all the coins listed on my balance?
I try to explain myself better: I forgot which tokens I bought and they are on smart etherdelta contract, do I have to check every single token from A to Z?
I would like to see a report of my asset because I want to move them to a more secure address.

Use page called delta balances. https://deltabalances.github.io/

You can see all the tokens on your ETH address and linked etherdelta account.

I really like their system before the hack. But i wouldn't buy any of their tokens with this conditions. They are making a million dollars worth of ico and offering nothing in return. Not a fee share or discount on fees. Just they will buy their worthless tokens halfback.

Still if it wasn't just after the hack i wouldn't be so much frustrated to them.
Not only that, but the new owners have shown ZERO goodwill towards users.
1. No capacity upgrades or immediate improvements.
2. Fired/removed all chat room support
3. Stopped adding new tokens (or stopped announcing them)

And again to re-hash other arguments:
1. Why are millions needed to market/promote the most successful decentralized exchange in the world?
2. Why does it take millions to "develop" Etherdelta? 2 or 3 devs for $150k/yr should easily suffice for improvements and upgrades.
3. What benefit will token holders receive? Some vague promise of discounts in fees... which without a change to the smart contract is not possible. And changing the smart contract is a logistical and support nightmare.

yes, totally agree! this crowdsale is a joke. the only thing would make this crowdsale looks a bit better is a sharing of earned money with the people who has been scammed by the phishing site.

I haven't read here for a long time. What happened to the crowdsale? Did it work or didn't people buy it? and etherdelta still works as well as before?

As far as i remember, they raised something around 3 million dollars.

And their investors who are still holding this, probably thinking to kill themselves.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/etherdelta-token/

It failed miserably.

Now that DexDelta is live, we don't need EtherDelta. New tokens are also being added plus it makes use of EtherDelta order books so it is a win-win situation https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4220940

Yes, and forkdelta is for it Smiley Why another fork of etherdelta?

And it seems you are not offering anything new.

Yep, it seems so. Also, there is getting more decentralized exchanges every new day. I am not counting dexdelta thought Smiley

Well i wouldn't be so sure. IDEX, with it's 10mln$ daily volume, is already behind EthFinex with 13mln$ and is having struggle for it's place vs Bancor and Waves with their ~7mln$ daily volumes. And any of dozens DEX's with current <1mln$ daily volume can become a strong competitor, for example Kyber Network after implementation into MEW.

According to CoinMarketCap it's about 500k$. I suppose for both ForkDelta and EtherDelta since they operate the same smart contract.

Ethfinex or bancor are decentralized?

Are you sure about that. I saw that ethfinex is offering fiat pairings. How can you do that decentralized?

To be honest i don't use both ethfinex and bancor. I see you are right about ethfinex to be owned by bitfinex and they call it "hybrid" DEX themselves. But what is the problem with bancor? Anyway my point is that the competition is already very hard while the whole DEX's volumes are still so very small. IDEX's is more than 100x times less than Binance's which is far from being top volume centralized exchange. I suppose the situation will change a lot in couple years but i doubt we'll see IDEX still being top DEX. I'll be less surprised to see on it's place some new exchange or maybe announced binance's DEX or even Kyber+MEW.

I know forkdelta totally different.

They started when etherdelta unavailable and they have a discord for communication. Etherdelta is total bs.

Hello all!

Keep in mind, that by using EtherDelta/Forkdelta you are paying the fees to scammer (that is insane)!

Chen Jun, who bought ED platform ran ICO and ran away with ED smartcontract key.

It's better to use Ethernext guys... They've created new smartcontract and based their exchange on ED open source, don't support the scammers by trading on ED/FD...

Whats the point when in regards on ranking between DEX and other traditional Exchangers in the market? I do see that they do have different key areas which they are focusin on. Rankings shoudlnt matter between areas as long they can able to deliver service to the traders without  any problems then it should be fine. Volume? Its one of the indications on how good the exchange is but we wont even know on future years to come on who would be on the top or on the bottom.
