Waves Vs. Ethereum

My friends do ICO on waves. They say that it is more convenient. But on this, I think, it all ends.
ETH is more common. I somewhere even saw the payment of services and goods in the ETH, but in the waves I have never seen. They do not really need someone, so it's easy for speculators.

Everything gets rekt right now and you can see that how the crypto market is so terrible right now. So many platforms have stated if they will be killing ether in the future but nothing happened just overrated copycat platform that has appeared in so many times. Waves are enough to be another crap platform in the future without nothing to be used.
