I don't know what's going on, but you're seeing a lot of YAcoin wallet stealing claims. Do not listen to them until you hear it from someone you trust on here. The way the same people and brand new members are spreading this rumor makes it highly suspect. Updated suspicious peoples list. List of suspicious people - bennybong, brewins, Aahzman, hdclover, poly, d3stroy3r.Any Jr. member or new account should also be viewed with suspicion. Possible it could be a cpuminer or something aside from the yacoin-qt, again, if it is real and not a anti marketing campaign by 6 people. UPDATE: bennybong now says his forum account was compromised and none of his coins were stolen. So he was either hacked and it's bullshit or he is backpedaling and it's bullshit. UPDATE: Thanks to user seleme, we can see hdclover has or has tried to gain a large amount of royalcoin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201831.0Up until a few hours ago his avatar was also royalcoin. The pieces are coming together.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Until you see it from reputable people it's possibly FUD, especially coming from hdclover aka Mr. RoyalCoin.

My wallet is just fine as well. Ran every virus scan I can think. People should post what dates they downloaded the client. I download mine on day of launch and it's fine. Perhaps a bad download is floating around.

Also doubting it. We have source files and they do not indicate that the yacoin wallet is stealing BTC.

that's what happens when coin developers don't release a miner to go with the coin, people take advantage and release compiled miners out of the "kindness of their heart", and you are get scammed.

What we have here is compromised forum accounts.
There has been quite a few co-ordinated campaigns against some of the newer coins recently. The thing to look at is probably the other coins that have not been subjected to this sort of treatment. It is hard for me to put it all together. I'm spending a lot of my time fire fighting FUD.

I've dealt with hdclover on the 9.5.13 selling him YACs. He was desperate to get more. Anyhow I have checked the BTC address he sent my payment from and there is nothing missing. So either hdclover had a different wallet.dat corrupted or did not lose anything. Anything else, make your own conclusions. And feel free to repost that to the other posts he did.

Us linuxers had to compile from source so i guess we're all good. As usual Pretty much from the start YAcoin has been LINUXcoin, seems the dev has a OS of choice and anyone who shares it was able to truly reap the benefits from being a early adopter.

Windows instructions: https://github.com/pocopoco/yacoin/blob/master/doc/build-msw.txtLinux instructions: https://github.com/pocopoco/yacoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txtWhere do you see any favoritism? You could even do "practice builds" few days ago to make sure you had everything u needed once the real genesis block is added and announced. Now if u say YAC is not very n00b friendly... then thats another story... <speculating>I think bitcoin probably did not have a GUI for quite some time... </speculating>

Most probably not. If it was the alternate forum would crash from all stolen wallets and not had few threads by same group of people who suddenly disappeared after they realized fud didn't work.

</speculating> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=200345.0TLDR - windows compiler gave about 10-20% the output of the linux one on release, pretty huge discrepency during the "early adopter" mining phase of a coin. Of course those who used linux and got thousands of coins that night have no complaints(unless they have any empathy in them like tacotime). With that and now the windows client being the only one with a virus it's clear that YAcoin is LINUXcoin.

So we have:
* 1 stolen forum account. * 1 account that suddenly lost their command of English grammar. * 1 jr account that used to advertise a scam service. * 1 account that says now that they were just repeating what they heard. * 1 account that says they didn't lose anything, but they detected the client accessed the wallet (duh)

Had unencrypted wallet, no coins stolen, got YACoin client since day one. I think nothing bad is happening, but I encrypted my wallet just to be safe.

Looking at the transactions on the blockchain, I noticed all of the addresses that sent bitcoin to 1RPrtamTACe1TcqkX2FmWVtRzmQJ6CfRx received funds right before they were "stolen". Ofc, I haven't checked all of them, but will check a few more to be sure.
