Yes although sometimes ICOs projects have no reputation and they are failed in their products but investing into ICOs is still promising, the problem when investing in the ICOs is on our selves, we don't know how to choose good ICOs even some people send the ethereum from the exchangers to participate in the ICOs, the successful investment in the ICOs depending on the our analysis about the project and the products be offered by developers.

This days investing in ICO's are really risky cause most of them are turning to scam and a quick pump and dump resulting into another airdrop. investing in ICO is promising if we do proper study of any ICO white paper, their road map of future and the team behind it, the other and major factor after these two things is the product of that ICO. If product is sustainable in long run then can participate in that particular ICO, but study is the must.

Many ICO projects are not well-developed, making investors unprofitable, even fraudulent. You need to find out and consult people thoroughly before deciding to invest in some ICO to safer and get more profit.

I think most of the ICOs currently are SCAMS but if you can find a legitimate project then ICOs still are the most promising and most profitable way to invest in any project. Just look for projects which have a working product as chances for the ICOs to be legit are high.
Look for projects which have a unique concept and a very strong development team.if you can find a good ICO, then high returns can be expected within small time interval.

Very good campaigns and projects also do not guarantee a good price in the market, I see all ico look the same and it makes no difference, for this year ico much impressed instantly because the distance between promotion and ico is very short and even one month, some investors surely interested but finally get the fact, price is very down after entering the market. I have not found the right formula to choose the right ico.

You are ignoring what it is and how it works.

There is no such thing as a legit ICO.
They violate the core ideology of crypto for one thing.
No dev's need any money.. they can post their coin idea if they can't afford to code it themselves.
If its good someone will make it.. with out having their hand out for a quarter billion dollars in Bitcoin *up front*

Further more no ICO has had any degree of success.
The most they have accomplished is a price increase (via manipulation and pumps)
