They are not 950 w.It is a lie.
I measured each one of my antminers for half a day. On 220 volts they eat 1180 w to 1280 w no less, no more.
A while ago a bitmain hot number was posted around here.I have troubles find it. Can you please re-post it?
Thanks

spread the hashing power guys. Last week I've been mining shitcoins like needle coin and earned a lot more than mining dash. Large assortment of shitcoins available here https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/. Just remember, you will have to deal with shit exchanges, even shittier coins. I converted it right away to BTC, but I've been unable to transfer it to my hardware wallet because of the network congestion that is going on.

Great, so when Dash mining becomes completely unprofitable, we can switch to other shitcoins

I have a D3 in my hand (no psu yet from bitmain) I can sell it for .1 btc (plus shipping and escrow costs) if anyone is interested please message me on here.
so now i see i payed 1 Btc for my 2 d3....now look at BTC!!!! its like i payed 8 thousand dollars lol lol....wow Nobody can predict the Future. so true, so true. Who knows what the price of Dash will be or what Helium will be in 3 years. I thought people were crazy when they were talking about $10,000 for bitcoin in 2013. I wish I had held on to every single one, but I didn't. That's life, though. I've been eyeing miners on eBay thinking of what Helium might bring. Crazy thoughts, but who knows, right? Be careful....the x11 algo is going to need much more than one new protocol to dig it out of this hole. Also, there are a Metric Shit ton more of these X11 servers coming onto the market. Personally I wouldn't pay more than $350.00 for a D3 now. Especially because they are hot and fickle. I never have to do ANYTHING with my S9's and L3+'s. (except clean the dust out of the boards once a month.) I baby sit these fucking D3's CONSTANTLY. To avoid permanent monitoring of this D3, i recommend you to download last firmware, resolve lot of issue. Also i add a crontab running on one of my GPU rig, checking if D3 run fine, if not a reboot is launch. Actually after 2-3d of running D3 start to do some HW error, as basic routine i reboot them with another cron every 3d. For people crying about how much they pay D3 cause they use BTC, blame your self oO You can use, LTC is a more stable money. Or for first batch even better USD WIRE, he a bit slow to do but you avoid fluctuation market. Anyway D3 was my first ASIC on first batch ... Bitmain do a nice move for him self, but with new competitive miner builder on the market now, end of 2018 will be a nice moment for ASIC i assume. Just have to target the good one. Actually my D3's were only dropping 1 hash board every two or three days before. I flashed that new firmware version and now the bastards are completely crashing every 2-3 hours. They show NO HW errors and my temps are 67c-71c. Then out of nowhere boom, just goes all X's. If anyone has a copy of the older firmware can you please post it. I need to get this new version off these serves. It's full of bugs or something. Yes I've tried reflashing it and switching PSU's. It's definitely that new firmware. Try to revert firmware back to the old one and see what happens. How do I do that? I don't have a copy of that file. Will reset bring it back?

Yeah I figured that. Anyone have a copy of the pre-Nov2 firmware file??? I'm sure there are a LOT of people on here that would like to go back to that.

In all honesty, the only time they claimed a 950 watt consumption was at 15ghs. Of course if you're churning 19.3 that number will raise considerably.

If this happen on same hashboard, you have a chain scission. Main hashboard with chain scission was running fine, after HW every 2d - 3d, after is like a zombie board, your miner say you will use only 30 chip instant of 60 but gonna make more them 50% hash on this one. In end your hashboard will bot at 30 chip detected and you will have to send this one. Actually after shipping time and custom control on china, Bitmain repair my board on 3 days and ship this one. I reach it Monday normally. I ask for a "maintenance" update about hash, it seems nothing news from batch 1 to batch 3.5, only more frequency usage.

I just checked on one of my 2 units (both on latest firmware) and all the chips are x's and unit hasing at 0mh
second unit running fine.. did a reboot and will see if this happens again.. im dumb for not creating a copy of orig firmware that it was shipped with to try and flash it back to orig
edit: rebooted and now one chip is x, going to try and downclock from 537 to 531
edit2: still lowering freq as 531 was still getting lots of HW.. trying to find the sweet spot

Latest Firmware is killing my machines!! https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720170915192851224mJ36J1ap066EFirmware: Antminer-D3-201711022227-0M.tar.gz This one claims to solve "x" errors, that appears after some running time. Since I upgraded my 4 machines and running them 3 hours...they are starting to show "xxxxxxx" all the way and fan speed is rising to 6000. Rebooting does not help...one hashboard now is showing only 55 of 60 chips. That is pain in the ass! What the heck is Bitmain doing? Any other of you guys have same issues? Is there a source where I can find older firmwares? Bitmain removed the version before this recent one.

I've had to drop too 500 frequency and or below to stabilize. Bottom line I think is....These things are NOT MADE to hash at 537. Yeah they can do it but it's redline territory. I'm just gonna run my units around 487-500 and roughly 17,000mhs. Whatever. Who cares if they make $3.85 a day or $4.00 or whatever the fuck it is. Bitmain might have thought if they overclocked these bastards to 537 they would hash fine until the warranty was up I guess they fucked that one up.
