10%?  Signatum had the exact same pre-mine, so I don't get the point.
Didn't know Signatum had a pre-mine?  It did.  2.5M coins, same as Magnatum.  The first 1000 blocks had a fixed virtually 0 difficulty level, which amounts to a pre-mine.
Signatum's first 1000 blocks were minable by everyone even with CPU (this is the official reason for the low diff Smiley).
Magnatum devs just mined shit ton of blocks before even announcing the coin.
So no, it's not the same.

And you don't think the Signatum devs weren't mining like crazy?  Regardless, I really don't see the difference between devs getting those pre-mine coins or the public.  If anything, the devs are more likely to NOT sell them off.

And really, 2.5M coins amounts to 1 week of mining.  Each week that passes makes that pre-mine less and less impactful.

does anyone mine SIGT

not that profitable

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Maybe you are right on this. I just checked the date of block 1 to block 1000, it is done in less than 30 minutes. About 2 seconds per blocks. But at least it is a real fair launch, because this thread is created before the date, and even devs were mining like crazy in these 30 minutes, there are still possible other miners into, unlike a real insta-mine, mine first launch later.

Oh the web wallet up already? https://wallet.signatum.io/ is sexy .

Coin Fair Launch - ✓
Additional TOR nodes - ✓
Signatum Marketplace (beta) - ✓
Signatum Web wallet (beta) - ✓

All in just a month's time? That't some super fast delivery of the planned roadmap. I would be surprised if this doesn't impress bigger exchanges to list SIGT already.  Huh

Web wallet looks damm good! Higher exposure for people with less tech abilities.
It can only be better. Keep up the good work dev team!

the web wallet can use to PoS stake in future ?
or still need a windows or linux wallet to stake.

Looking at it, I believe you can stake the coins in web wallet once PoS starts and I don't think you will need a windows or linux wallet if you prefer web wallet based staking. Smiley

Please refer to the following post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2030529.msg20364321#msg20364321
TL;DR
"as you can see he started mining before he posted the ANN"
"at the exact second of ANN was block 28"
"so somehow 28 different people mined 28 different blocks before the ANN was announced"
"1469 seconds (24 minutes) to mine the first 1000 blocks, and then difficulty kicked in. still fast to mine at that point but you get the point"

Also refer to the following post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2030529.msg20311608#msg20311608
"Uhmm.. sorry but there's nothing Fair and clean about the launch, the difficulty and block time was artificially set to very low values for the first 1000 blocks and the first "normal" miners got in after block 1000... So your artificial instamine brought you about 3.5m coins already... "

This thread was not created before blocks were mined. What is fair becomes subjective to each individual. Also refer to my previous response.

Of course the SIGT devs should have mined like crazy. Why wouldn't they? They are the ones who will develop the coin. The difference between SIGT and its clones is that everyone was given a chance to mine like crazy when SIGT was launched. You can continue discussing the SIGT clones in their own threads. This is the SIGT thread.

It's all right if you try to improve upon a coin. But similar sounding name? Falsely claiming it's a fork of SIGT when it's not. I think there is something very wrong there.

It was created 50seconds before start. Of course it is not "fair launch with no premine", someone had to read first, than download a miner as far as it was new algo, make a bat for a pool also takes time. So when it all was done - 30 minutes of instamine have passed even for the luckiest miner.
So devs didn't need to "mine like crasy", they could use a 1 slowest cpu to mine all those 2.5M signatums.

He just probably checked to make sure his (or their) hardware was good to go

I'd call that fair

28 blocks is nothing

Who else but the dev would be first to mine?

I can't even create a wallet there
And you can't buy SIGT for BTC on Cryptopia? That's pretty strange indeed.

Looks like their wallet is down for maintenance so no deposit/withdrawal but can trade if you already have some there, as said above you can get some at Bitzure in the mean time Smiley

yes! It looks like that

IMHO, SIGT's price have been dropped due CRAPtopia. They locked SIGT wallet, what scares people, and massive dump was started.

I am always scared when wallet of some coin is locked. It means sometime that something is wrong.
In this case it looks like problem is on craptopia's side.

Considering it is night time in NZ I don't think so, unless their admins are working 24/7

Siacoin is being delisted, not SIGT.
BTX wallet maintenance (about a month ago) took more than 1 week to be fixed. BTX is still listed.
SIGT devs offered help to cryptopia, they found and fixed the problem, cryptopia just have to apply recommendations and voila.
Patience.
