What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency?

I kept putting money into the "regulated" market because I was too afraid of investing in unregulated currencies. Took very long to figure even the former is full of market manipulation by the big buys sitting in Wall Street so moved into Crypto too late (LTC @ 25, ETH @ 190). Still have some decent profits, just wish I'd moved away from crappy regulated non-sense long back into coins where Wall Street is not manipulating everyday

To those of you that got these coins for such a cheap price like 0.25 and under... why did you guys sell ?  Did you just wanted to make a profit and then get rid of it?  Or did you needed money and that was the reason why?

Because from what i read here, lot of ppl here keep talking about getting altcoins at satoshi prices... i had no idea what that is until i googled it and basically its very cheap.   Thus 1000 satoshi is 3 cents only.

I sold out and used the money to buy extra hash and stock up on well established markets like ETH - I made a little bit of money holding onto the ETH but nothing in comparison to if I would have just held my coins.

Now everything I mine I hold - Regardless of how I feel about it.

MY absolute biggest regret is keeping money on exchanges for extended periods of time even when not trading. In hindsight, I would only keep them on exchanges to trade and then withdraw immediately.

I have lost thousands from this mistake, and it really, really sucks.

For now, I don't have regrets in cryptocurrency but I think if I will have regrets, it will be the lost of my cryptocurrency. If do all my best to have a cryptocurrency and suddenly it banished in a blink of an eye, it will fall me apart. I will regret trusting the online wallet and I will regret not to withdraw my crptocurrency when there is time but I hope it won't happen.

Missing the bitcoin boat would really give us regrets and we would really say up that we might be millionaires as of now if we did jump on it on earlier times but there are really situation that isnt really meant for us. All things have purpose and its really lucky for those people who did jump in on earlier times.They do reap on what they saw on earlier times and for those who have the money to buy on do have always the advantage.

Damn that's hurting, when I discovered bitcoin it was $200-$400 I can't remember for now. And when I saw ETH the price was only $15-$20 but I didn't bought any single ETH and right now that is one of my biggest regret that I haven't bought but this is life and career in crypto currency, we use to regret in the end not in the beginning.

If you start using bitcoin way back when the price of each is lower than $500 it is a quite a bad decision and a regreting part for most of us to not deal with investment on that time. But for others that start using bitcoin on a more developed price it is not that regretting because the price of bitcoin is much high compare the time most of us started. So basically the opportunities is the biggest regret users can made because there is a lot of profit and investment if we try on investment during that past time.

I think you did not made any mistake at all because 800$/btc is not a small amount with 40 btc , and also you should see when you get this amount then what was the price actually .
And herr in my opinion the best thing will be if you didn't sold all because to have bitcoin to get a better growth is also a important thing in this field because if you have no money then also you have no opportunities to make money .
Here j myself made a big mistake to sell my digibytr coin when it gets rise to 300satoshi , because i bought at 100satoshi rate but after sell  it get reached to 2600 Satoshi in the evening , that was the moment for me to weep enough because i lost much money with that mistake .

But today they are not worth much more .

I made other mistakes like deposit onto exchanges and then they closed. So I lost all of my money, unfortunately. And that happened a few times... too many scammers out there. 

Hopefully someday I will be able to afford a few Bitcoins so that when it reaches $1,000,000 I will still be rich.

That's very sad for you to miss that. I'm even deeply sad after missing the opportunity to buy bitcoin for $500 in 2016. I can't even imagine yours.

The others, I didn't buy ether for $30 in 2017.

I didn't buy waves for $0.5 a couple of months ago. This was the biggest regret of me.
