it'll not help a lot the problem is the trend was shifting from ICO to the IEO and that gives more limitation for kick platform to encourage the demand. KICK must try to change its business idea and try to create cooperation with exchange site and that's the only way for kick to get the demand.

You are misleading here. The swap from KickCoin to KickToken will take place on 29th of August 2019.
The snapshot will be taken on 29th of August 9:00 AM UTC, based on which those who have enough KickCoins - will get additional bonus tokens

I have sold my kick coins in 2017 and since 2 years I am getting 0 bonus coins every month and along with me I can see even other users getting the same. I don't get why as there's no point sending 0 coins and waste fee sending it.

The contract should determine users with 0 balances and not send dividends.

Update on the GATE io case..

Once the TokenSwap was announced Gate io has decided to delist KickCoin without preliminary notice. This is how the situation escalated quickly. But the users funds are safe and secure. In the article said that you just need to move your kickcoin to your personal wallet and that means kicktoken will be using the same blockchain and that's ethereum blockchain and it will not build on its blockchain.
Kick has moved its business plan due to the IEO trend and that's why kick platform has created its own exchange site called kickex.
As far as i know, kicktoken will act like exchange site's token that gives utility usage on its exchange sites like what already did by binance coin, kucoin shares and many more.
Kickcoin alreayd used on its crowdfunding platform for ICO but due to the downtrend of ico and this forced kickplatform to develop its own exchange platform and this is just like a migration.

Thanks for your clarification, WalkerIVIV. That is all true: KickCoin smart-contract is being upgraded and in order to add new functionality and utility to the token contract we are upgrading to a new token, which will inherit the previous token utility and the price. Most of the exchanges with a decent trade volume already admitted the support for the swap on August 29: Kucoin, Bilaxy, TOKOK, Livecoin, Exmo.

We are waiting for more confirmations from the exchanges. IDEX has confirmed delisting the token, but we don't mind. It shows how decentralised this exchanges actually is. They probably will start the trading of KickToken afterwards, so there is nothing to be worried about.

And last but not least: the swap comes with a bonus up to 150%. But the catch is that in order to receive the bonus - KickCoins have to be on your personal wallet, not on the exchange during the swap. Pretty easy and simple procedure: move KickCoins to the address you control, wait for the snapshot, get new and fresh KickTokens and enjoy the bonus!

Hi, frcat. The purpose of the swap - a token contract improvement to prepare for the launch of our own exchange KICKEX. The current smart-contract doesn't support some functionality to integrate with the exchange. Additionally, there are extra tune up to lower the transaction costs. We plan to remove the old and add new methods. In this case, users do not have to do anything, they will see new tokens - KickTokens on their ETH address when the swap is complete.

Bonus tokens will be credited ONLY to personal addresses. Yet, to redeem the bonus you will have to wait until the KICKEX launch.
