@Kaznachej123
We have Russian thread maybe you can post it there as well -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2008642.0
Maybe you can bring in more activity there if Russian is your native language?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Is this the coin where this guy Rhett Creighton is involved or am I confusing something?
He is creator of Zclassic https://github.com/heyrhett

ZenCash began as a chainsplit from Zclassic, providing a base of ZEN owners. Anyone who held Zclassic prior to the block 110,000 chainsplit was allocated a 1:1 amount of Zen automatically.

Hi MedaR,

got it, thanks for the clarification. Correct me if I am wrong, but do I recall correctly that there was some drama involved or am I mixing that up with some other coin?

What else would you mine it with?  There are no ASICs for Equihash, and CPUs can't hang with GPUs.  If you are mining Zencash just to dump it... you are doing it wrong... especially for this coin.

This is a presumption of profitability under the current conditions on the market, but always project your mining - investment for a longer time span.

Do you gonna up ZEN needed to maintain a SecureNode ?

Cause with only 42+1 ZEN, actually more them 60k secure node can be run ...

Never reach profit at all, it will cost you more except if ZEN price raise.

Maybe a limit about 100+1 ZEN can be good so in maximum if all coin go to secure node we will have less them 21k secure node (Steel umprofitable but with more hope)

Something like 150-200+1 ZEN would be even better.

https://securenodes.eu.zensystem.io/ we have around 750 nodes in beta testings. I doubt we can see over 20k nodes (Immediately), but if this happens price certainly won't stay same.
http://zen.lebre.net/

10k nodes is 420k Zen Bittrex has under 200k in orders book.  Smiley

System will be improved over time, when Team collect enough information from system itself. Trough system of proposals and voting we will be able to change and improve almost all elements of this system.  Wink

It's running on beta testing. When will the time for officially running secure nodes in the ZenCash network. Securenodes looks good ideas, it help to secure and strengthen the network, in general.
More information about beta testing we will have a chance to hear  tomorrow on ZenCash Bi-Weekly Update. So far, we do not have exact date when will nodes go mainnet.

We cannot give exact date due to complexity of system. Tests are still in progress, switching will happen soon. Cool
It is Better to be sure that there is no errors, this is our main concern, so we do not rush.

Does this mean that you may increase the 42+1 requirement for secure nodes? That has potential to piss a lot of people off in the long run. You need to finalize that decision now and baseline a number with at least two to five year committment.

If a change in coin count occurs for the nodes, implementing it before main net would be more respectable to investors.

It was just a suggestion of Bibi187, not anything mentioned by the development team. Also I personally like the amount of 42+1, because you have to keep money invested to run a secure node on the one hand, but on the other hand it's not that much money that, so that almost anyone can run a secure node, if he really wants to. The price of 42+1 will probably rise in the future, so that's a reason more to not  raise the amount of coins needed to run one. Every secure node there is more increases the security of the network, as the name says. So that's not a bad thing, as Bibi187's post suggests.
