Old late question I know but is anyone running their node out of virtualbox?
Docker would be better There are offical docker images ( https://github.com/WhenLamboMoon/docker-zen-node) for sec nodes its easier to get set up. But if you wanted to just build yourself virtualbox is no different than using a vps, but you will need to open ports in your router firewall to get it to work optimally. |

Is there any info about "how to" setup Secure Node? Some of the links in OP has not been working.
Also is it right calculation about earnings and ROI "Estimated ZEN Earnings (Zen/Node/Day) 0.0380"?

friend in my opinion it is because of the fluctuation of BTC rates and i think many of us mining other procedure like ZENCASH that is going much famous and faster in people day by day. many of us thinking about upgradation of their pc and start mining these methods. after the fluctuation in BTC price I also thinking about switching to these methods of mining.

Beta testing our Proposal System - our first step for a DAO user interface! Our new Proposal System will provide a more elegant way for community members to submit proposals. Our team will use the Proposal System to send proposals to the community, who in turn will vote, comment, and decide.
ZENHELP (in development)
We're creating our very own organic service desk system to improve your experience! We're taking the lead in the industry by creating a professionalized customer support system that will help with reocurring issues and questions. ZenHelp will:
Monitor social media channels 24/7.
Provide a ticketing system to team members, and support staff in a timely manner.
Perform analysis on tickets, so we can continue to improve across our products.
WikiPage (knowledge base) so people can quickly reference recurring issues which will in turn feed to developers, so our users have a zen experience.
DEVELOPMENT UPDATES
The product team continuously improves our wallets. Below are some updates:
Private keys from the Swing wallet now seamlessly import into the Arizen wallet.
Arizen is now available in 5 languages and regularly adding more.
Swing cosmetic fixes and installation guide recently released.
SECURE NODE PAYMENTS
Exciting news! Secure Node payments are now up to date and payments are scheduled for weekly intervals. We paid out over 9,000 ZEN over 230,000 payments...a BIG milestone. With over 6,000 nodes on the network, we're moving quickly towards being one of the strongest and most decentralizing node architecture in the industry.
Community feedback was helpful to get our system to where it is today. Additional improvements are on the way with our next secure node system release.
Our 12 ZenCash representatives have so many exciting updates it's hard to fit them into one email! Event sponsorships, meetups, writing blogs in multiple languages, integrating with new merchants, building relationships with large exchanges, speaking with strategic partners, translating our website and white paper, and building their teams...just to name a few things they're tackling. Our reps are doing a fantastic job growing the ZenCash presence globally. You can learn about everything they're accomplishing on our biweekly community call.

Hello, guys! I'm watching for your project since summer. And I started to mine your currency few months ago, now I have enough of Zen to make few secure nodes. Today I had a conversation with one person, I recommended him to mine Zen and hold it till next bulls trend. However, when I told him about your project, he asked me about how ZenCash will compete with upcoming TON (Telegram's blockchain project)? I've read about their network and realize that it will be almost the same as yours - secure transactions, messenger, storage and anonymizer. What do you think about it?
