There's no certain rule that you have to follow but only your strategy or someone's strategy that can bring you good results. But in gambling there's no strategy that has been effective in the long run. You have to know in what aspect of your life gambling is helping you. Well, I think depending on the purpose we gambled, we could get benefits from gambling or we would not get any benefit from gambling. I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

What a wasteful stress reliever u had  . If people has no problem finacially they can live in casinos all the time or other gambling places. But not all has the money to support this luxury if indeed a luxury and not a bad habit. Yes it may benefit the person who gamble in some ways but the loss will be big and disastrous and some are not able to recover from those loses.

However for me, mentally i had been able to improve my analytical skills since card games which i used to play requires analytical skills and the longer i played the better i become. I really don't understand what is the benefit someone from gambling. Specially if you have been in the gambling world for so long. You may have experiences losses but you still don't stop from playing. I guess is just passing time or sort of entertainment. But if you are losing money so it doesn't give you that much benefit isn't it?

LOL mate. There are other forms that will enhance your analytical ability. Yeah, if you make some money that is good, but what if in the long run you almost got bankrupt or your bankroll swept? You going to lend money to continue and try to recover or just completely quit gambling? (which is hard).

Yes indeed it is a smart move but not all gambling sites that receive the investment will run their business for a long time, some of them will run away with investment money and profit because of that, some of us think better to play gambling than invest on gambling site.

For me I don't consider gambling as beneficial first because it can lead into a addiction. Second, it can cause a depletion of our money and last it could cause a bad in our daily lives. Somebody says that it gave a pleasure but I don't believe it because how will you feel fun if you have loss your money. Therefore, gambling is not beneficial for me.
