You can easily double your money on gambling on the roullete, poker, and so on.. But you can easily lost it all in a second

There are more chances for you to lose your money instead of doubling it. The house is always going to win, no matter what, and there is no way to change that.

I wonder sometimes if gambling helps my money management. It could help make more rational decisions. Many losing bets are made on emotion rather than objective thinking. Greed is also a big cause of loss for me, which could help me to recognize and mitigate that. It also brings up interesting philosophical questions in terms of whether its moral to gamble and try to win *something for nothing*.

Gambling can carry a negative stigma in terms of western society and culture. I'm not certain where that comes from. Drugs, alcohol, tobacco & many things society seems perfectly "ok" with can be more damaging than gambling. I think I wouldn't mind if my kids or people I know gambled, it could teach good life lessons.

I also think of that . I really dont see any benefits in doing gambling. Aside from winning money in the fastest way. But its too risky because you can also loss it in the most easiest way. Gambling is just useful and tolerable if only, you always win. But if not, then definitely your just wasting your time and your money. So dont wait for that time to come , and just be wise in spending your money.

The only good thing that you can take from gambling are just lessons, and losses, of course.
But if you are with friends or just playing for money with them, i think that it is a funny practice instead of being in there just for "earning" some money.
There is a lot of people who will never understand that gambling is not for all, if you are very exposed to keep losing it all or if you are just an unwealthy guy, do not gamble, you will get more poor than what you are.

That is correct. When you need money never ever should to gambling. That is the biggest mistake most of the gamblers will do in gambling. I do not think there is any benefit at all by gambling around, first you need to have a lot of money to gamble, low bankroll will never let you win huge money. Second if you do not keep on playing you will tend to lose more than what you win, there is seldom people that winning back his own loss. I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

I have a lot of experience in winning in gambling so i get many benefits of it i build my house i give money to my family i buy my needs on my own and i treat my friends ill make them happy thats the benefit i get when i win in gambling

Wow! Maybe you are an expert in gambling because you made a lot of money out of it, imagine you managed to build a house and all from your gambling winnings. Most of the people I know who are gambler are now broke because of gambling, I wonder if your winnings is bigger than your losses though.

I don't know if gambling can be a benefit. Maybe it is a benefit to be a social gambler where the benefit is having fun making friends and sharing your gambling experience with them. This could be online and offline. I know some will argue that there is no benefit and it is a negative or destructive activity. I disagree.

The only benefit from gambling is when you don't have a social life at all and gambling in such circumstances becomes one of such activity. It becomes such in the sense that you start watching the game you have bet on for example and you go to watch this game in a club where you can socialize. if you see profit and loss wise yes you are right most of the people had a bad experience and not gained any benefits in this gambling. But some people will play for time pass and to overcome work stress i think they got benefited from this gambling in another way. So it depends on how you treat gambling.

Well, we all had some same and different experiences in this industry. Hence as my own experience, Gambling became my source of stress reliever (as of today) knowing that I'm a past addict in the industry. I'm only after the fun and entertainment that industry gives nonetheless there a no other benefits I could get from gambling. We all have a different perspective on how gambling affects our lives. But like OP said, Don't be an addict in this industry. I've learned it the hard way, so control yourself! and gamble responsibly.

Yeah! Instead they get benefits from gambling they are more deep in the depth where they become addicted and greedy and thats why they even borrow some money just only to gamble. No benefits at all.

I've benefitted from learning poker and becoming a winner player. I learned to be patient and to think long-term. When I play I make rational decisions based on data and some assumptions on what is more likely, then I have to calculate. I learned about how emotions can mess our decisions and to recognize when others are acting emotionally.

In general, poker has made me think better.

As for casino games, I doubt there is any benefit.
