I think the OP is talking about permanent mean of getting profit. From gambling one can get profit by chance, because there are very little chances of using our experience. Specially in dice gambling where we mostly depend on our luck. But it is also right to say that profit is profit either you get it from gambling or from any other source of income. Those people who got good profit from gambling and then quit it on right time they can maintain the profit.
