Can we please unlock the original thread ?

milkshake - delete the entire thread and start again, that thread turned into a nightmare at the end and even the pool details just lost in pages of chit chat, then make sure to launch with windows and have a p2pool ready to go on a decent server (you take 10% for dev) with details on the OP so that the other pool that is set up does not get unfair advantage. Get someone trusted from here if you need help with either of those things. Take your time and launch in 24 hours if needed?  IF you rush another launch now most people have already left the forum since it is though of as a fail. Give time for them to learn of a relaunch or this coin will be wasted.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Hybrid server-assisted clients like Electrum get a lot of their network information from centralized servers, but they also check the server's results using blockchain header data. This is perhaps somewhat more secure than either server-assisted clients or header-only clients.

Wait... this doesn't make sense. There's only 256 bits. Shifting right by ten million bits would result in zero. So the value of the above is zero.

On the other hand I have no idea what that variable means so feel free to ignore me if I'm talking out of my ass.

You can see the target in debug log.

The topic will be reopened once we have a genesis block.

POST AN ETA rather than random release!
Do you understand it is impossible for me to give an ETA? It's like mining, I don't know when we'll hit the genesis block.

TradeFortress has left me negative trust and has provided no proof to substantiate his claim. He has done this to discredit me as I am investigating him.

That is not how starting difficulty works. At all. That's not even the correct value to edit. Ah, screw it. No one listens to me anyway.

I started that HazardCoin thread as a joke but I'm seriously thinking of developing it, with all the developer incompetence going on lately.
