If they have listed WDC for the chop it will be very hard to dissuade them.  Once the Cryptopia team has made its mind up, that tends to be that.

Please note:  NovaExchange is re-opening very soon, and WDC is still listed there.

Please be patient. Im working with Berzeck on getting the website back up and running. Another Dev is working on switching to cryptonight. If we cannot get the website back up I will build a new one. The project is not dead just slow moving at the moment.

No as of right now Cryptopia has no intention of getting rid of worldcoin.

I was a bit concerned with the rate of development on this coin - it's pretty far behind litecoin and bitcoin, but it doesn't need to be. http://worldcoin.global has been down for a long time and finding information on the coin is super difficult.

I will be putting some effort into modernizing Worldcoin. To start, I've registered http://worldcoin.network and I'll be putting links to the repository on the page. (There's no web page yet, and I'm a terrible front end developer).

The second thing I want to do is to merge the WorldcoinGlobal code changes back into the original worldcoin repo on github, and then begin upgrading the wallet.

Stay tuned for great things!

This newbie worldcoindeveloper seems very much fake. Don't believe him/her. When Worldcoin starts to get stronger, scared little trolls and scammers crawl out from the gutter wanting to destroy it.

Dear users,

Funcoin will reopen the deposit and withdrawal service of BTC & WDC at 13:00 on October 29, 2018 (Seoul Time).

Due to the access to the new wallet framework, all users' BTC/WDC deposit addresses have been replaced. Please check the address carefully to avoid the transfer error!

The deposit/withdrawal service of the remaining currencies will also be opened as soon as possible. Please pay attention to the official announcement for the specific opening hours.

Thanks for your support to Funcoin!

The beauty of cryptocurrencies is that you don't need to trust anyone. You can download the source code and build it yourself! (Though I'll admit it's a pain in the ass, I've only got the linux version of the wallet compiling right now).

As I'm updating the wallet, one of the huge issues is that the built in seed nodes are no longer up.

In the WorldcoinGlobal repo, I see the following:

seednode.worldcoin.global
seednode2.worldcoin.global
seednode3.worldcoin.global
seednode4.worldcoin.global
seednode5.worldcoin.global
seednode6.worldcoin.global

In the WorldcoinAlliance repo, I see the following:
seednode1.worldcoincore.com
seednode2.worldcoincore.com
seednode3.worldcoincore.com
seednode4.worldcoincore.com
seednode5.worldcoincore.com
seednode6.worldcoincore.com

Does anyone have any recommended seednodes they can share? There's some IP addresses cryptopia lists in their coin-info. If not I'll add a seed node to worldcoin.network.

I don't trust your "new" wallet, Olker1. You could have added some hidden backdoors that steal user's wallet or steals all their WDC.

Hello guys, it's Xanur here from the worldcoin global forum and discord.

I'm not good with words and english is not my first language so I will get to the point.

A lot has happened the last couple of years in the history of Worldcoin. We have had our ups and downs (mostly). After the Scharmbeck incident/scam or whatever you want to call it, we lost most of our community members. Some community members tried to pick it up and continue the further development of Worldcoin.

First the Worldcoin Alliance was formed. I don't know the details, but most of the board members disappeared just like the first team. Thankfully Berzeck picked up the project and continued the development of the Worldcoin wallet. As most of you know, Berzeck stepped down in 2017 because of issues with a Chinese group of people.

Berzeck left the Worldcoin protocol mostly untouched, because of disagreement within the community. Because of this the asics/multipools hit us hard and peaks in network difficulty led to an unstable network, too fast or too slow blocktimes etc. Alferz from the Worldcoin Global forum came up with the proposal to fork Worldcoin and use the CryptoNight PoW algorithm as a (temporary) solution. I support this as a temporary solution and decided to work on this as of september.

I want to hear what the community thinks about this, and if there is support from within the community. Keep in mind this is a temporary solution and after the fork is done, I want to come up with a longterm plan for further development.

I am aiming for a fork Q4 this year. However my resources (mostly time) is also limited. Nevertheless development will continue on.

Sound great Xanur. If there are any Devs who want to help, or anyone who is interested in joining the worldcoin community discussions on discord, please join.

I think you're right to be vigilant, and now the problem is, we have to find people around the world who still have WDC, and bring people together, build a community, and promote it, and get WDC trading on more exchanges.-- just like www.cryptopia.co.nz and www.funcoin.co.

Not to get anyone too excited, but I've finished my refactor of the wallets, and built the linux client.

I'm still working on getting windows and mac builds, and I'll release my source code and wallets when that's done!
